IADC Committee Chairmen’s Report: Activities
• 2014 Accomplishments
LAND: The Committee published the updated IADC Land Daywork Contract;
OFFSHORE: The Committee decided to move forward on a new model deepwater
offshore international contract;
EDUCATION: The Committee increased participation by holding quarterly meetings
and inviting guest speakers to address topical issues.
• 2015 Goals and Objectives
MODEL CONTRACT: The Committee will continue with the development of a new
model offshore international contract;
CROSS-COMMITTEE: The Committee will seek cross-committee engagement in areas
of mutual interest;
CONTRACTS CONFERENCE OUTSIDE US?: The Committee will seek to expand
international involvement by evaluating interest in international contracts sub-
committees and an international Contracts and Risk Management Conference.
