The late-ice bite for giant pike is like an open-air festival of anglers, spreads of tip-ups, jigging rods, and intense sunshiny afternoons. The sun can become too much at times, and what a relief to take breaks inside our hub shelters.

The fish are staging in and around known spawning areas, so fish location is simplified. Park near the spot, put down some baits and pop up a basecamp.
