NORDSCHLEIFE „GREEN HELL“

Since it was completed in 1927, this unique track has never ceased to thrill. Overcoming the 20.8 km track means constantly re-evaluating your driving skills and yourself under tough conditions.

Awestruck Jackie Stewart once referred to the Nordschleife as the “Green Hell” and, over the years, it has become a true legend. Once you’ve driven on this track, you’ll never forget it. RENTAL UPON REQUEST

5.14 km of adrenaline-soaked tarmac. The home of the most successful racing series. Apart from the king of motorsports, Formula 1, the Nürburgring plays host to numerous other racing events such as the DTM (German Touring Car Masters), the AvD Oldtimer Grand-Prix or the ADAC Truck Grand-Prix every year.

Motorsport at its greatest fascination! Experience emotional highs with your guests, andgive your business a massive boost. Formula Racing is available either as intensive trainingin a small group of up to 30 people, or as an event module for a larger group of people.

Drive a formula car yourself. Participants can take their places in these single-seaters, outfitted with racing overalls, helmets with H.A.N.S system and racing gloves. The almost prone seating position allows you to merge with the racing car into a single entity. A formula racing car lets participants experience driving in its purest form. The highlight to round off an event or conference at the Nürburgring. At the side of a professional racing driver you can experience the breathtaking combination of speed and vehicle control on the world’s most demanding racetrack. With our highly attractive pool of sports cars we can also offer this experience at short notice to a large number of guests on the Grand-Prix track.

Excitement, competition and enthusiasm are the attributes which characterise dynamic training. This programme can be implemented in a team and consists of the following modules:

Race of ChampionsThe Race of Champions is modelled on the famous annual event at which the world’s best racing drivers come together for a direct comparison, measuring their skills in identical vehicles. Two participants at a time drive in parallel on the same circuit. The times are recorded and even the tiniest mistake counts.

Roller CarThe Roller Car is a passenger vehicle, on the back axis over-sized „shopping kart wheels“ replace the tyres. With this original vehicle the completion of the course is timed.

RACETRACK TRAINING

There’s nowhere better to reach the limits of driving physics than on a track that meets the FIA Formula 1 safety standard. This training will teach you what the terms “entry”, “apex”, “exit” and “gradual acceleration” mean in real racing terms.

Using a section of the Nürburgring Grand-Prix track, participants will experience an amazing mix that combines driving thrills with learning the basics of racetrack training.

We conduct the training in our own cars (e.g. VW Scirocco, Toyota GT86) which are specially tuned for use on the racetrack and therefore meet the Nürburgring Driving Academy’s high safety standard.

TRACKWALK NORDSCHLEIFE

The tarmac is still warm, the scent of petrol fumes still hangs in the air. Take a trackwalkthrough the legendary “Green Hell” accompanied by an experienced racing driver. See the place where the VLN endurance championship and the 24h-race are played out from an entirely new perspective.

Whether you’re a spectator or an active motorsport participant, this gives you a chance to get a really close look at what is by far the world’s most beautiful piece of tarmac. Listen to anecdotes and stories about “the Ring” while you are driven by bus to the various sections of the track.

CATERHAM DRIFT & SLALOM EXPERIENCE

Groups of around 20 participants are taught vehicle control techniques at the Slalom and Drift by four instructors, using Caterham racing cars. Because of their low weight and absence of electronic driving aids, these cars are extremely dynamic, so fun is guaranteed. Participants learn how the vehicle responds to sharp bends, braking and accelerating.A cordoned-off practice track ensures that cars and drivers remain unharmed when driving errors are made following spin-outs. This course makes participants more aware of the limits of driving physics. The competition and team elements aren’t left out either: At the slalom competition, professional timing with a photoelectric barrier at the start and finish lines determines the placement.

OFFROADPARK Forget everyday life – enjoy freedom and a world without limits.Away from the main road you can explore the extensive grounds of the Offroadpark at the Nürburgring which have recently been upgraded to the latest standard. Feel like a competitor for an offroad trophy and discover while you perform various driving exercises that there are no obstacles – only challenges.

A day full of offroad adventures, an unforgettable experience!The upgrading of the Nürburgring Offroadpark ensures that it now meets the demanding safety standards of the Nürburgring Driving Academy. A round circuit with parallel lanes and three levels of difficulty guarantees huge offroad fun for both newbies and professionals. In addition, there are separate areas for 4x4 trials, quads and ATVs.

OFFROAD EXPERIENCEMODULE 1: START/FINISH AREAThis is where all activities begin in the Off-roadpark. The start/finish area provides suf-ficient space for all participating cars and of-fers a great view of the next module, the uphill sections. This is also where show cars can be displayed.

MODULE 2: UPHILL SECTIONSThe uphill sections are made of reinforced concrete, providing the best grip for those try-ing to conquer the hill thanks to their particu-larly rough surface. On the sides of the uphill sections markings at eye level provide orienta-tion for the drivers.

MODULE 3: AXIAL TWIST SECTIONThe axle articulation of the vehicles used can be demonstrated on three parallel tracks. The maximum amplitude of the axial twist sec-tions is between 0.4 m on the green and 1.0 m on the black track.

MODULE 4: SOLID SCREE SLOPEHere too three different levels of difficulty are available, depending on the size and characte-ristics of the stones used: the green track has stones of up to 15 cm in size embedded in the concrete, those in the red track are between 15 and 25 cm in size, and the stones embedded in the black track are between 25 and 40 cm in size.

MODULE 5: SAND PASSAGEThe sand passage is part of a slightly ascen-ding bend. The sand used was chosen to allow for effective drainage. This module is not only fun but also demonstrates the capabilities of all-wheel drive.

MODULE 6: LOOSE SCREEThis passage is directly connected to the sand passage and features stones with a grain size of between 32 and 64 mm. Drivers are tasked with keeping the vehicle on track on this loose surface and work their way through the passa-ge with the help of all-wheel drive.

MODULE 7: DOWNHILL SECTIONSJust like the uphill sections, the downhill sec-tions are made of high-grip reinforced con-crete, which largely prevents the cars from slipping. The downhill sections are featured through marking on the sides for better orien-tation.

MODULE 8: WATER PASSAGEWith a length of 15 m, the water passage allows the demonstation of the fording depth of the vehicles used. The basin is designed in such a way that the depth decreases from right to left. A constant water depth of bet-ween 0.2 and 0.7 m can be established by way of a natural overflow.

MODULE 9: SIDE SLOPESThe side slopes module impresses participants by putting them in a very unusual driving situ-ation. This is where the offroader’s capability to handle slopes can be shown in an impres-sive fashion.

MODULE 10: QUAD TRACKThe quad track is a circuit ideally suited for the participants to familiarise themselves with the exceptional handling characteristics of a quad or ATV. The sandy surface provides particular-ly safe conditions while getting used to the vehicle and also allows experienced drivers to put in the occasional drift.

MODULE 11: TRUNK CROSSINGThe trunk crossing passage is located on a rise and features trunks with a diameter of 30 to 40 cm anchored in the ground on a length of about 20 m. Ground clearance of the vehicle, traction and a feeling for the car are crucial here.

DIRT ROADSIn addition to the purpose-built tracks presen-ted above, the Offroadpark of course still has many different dirt roads. Up- and downhill sections, sloping terrain and a sunken path are just a few of the options available at different levels of difficulty.

MODULE OFFROADPARK

Discover driving at its most fundamental form – offroad with loads of action and fun. Thereby after a short briefing from the instructor, you can explore the extensive grounds of the Offroadpark. You’ll be mastering slants, sand and scree as well as uphill and downhill sections. With an expert instructor at your side, you’ll find that even difficult sections will gradually become child’s play. Suzuki offroad vehicles are used for these programmes.

OFFROAD TRIAL

True to the motto “Reaching our goal together”, the Offroad Team Mobile course calls for genuine teamwork. This is because the car’s controls have to be operated by 4 different people and there are 2 steerable axles and 1 steering that is installed the wrong way round, all of which requires concentration, communication and driving skills. Such an extraordinary offroad vehicle definitely makes for plenty of fun. PRICE

TEAM MOBILE

The most important thing at this station is the communication within the teams of two. At the wheel of a real offroader, each team has to navigate a defined course with as few mistakes as possible. TOGETHER IN THE FAST LANE KART GRAND-PRIX

Race action for your guests. For groups of up to 50 people we can offer you a customised racing event on the 400 m ring°kartbahn. With our TÜV-certified RIMO SiNUS electro karts, your guests get the opportunity to experience karting up close and in safety. Our package com prises winners’ trophies inclusive of sparkling wine, catering and/or optional accom pani-ment by a motorsports professional who can offer help and advice. Proposed agenda for your event:After a thorough instruction by our trained personnel, all participants firstly take part in an 8-minute qualifying round. They are jointly instructed and are familiarised together with the track and the karts. Each individual lap is electronically timed and the best lap time recorded. After the qualification rounds, the participants are split up into racing groups of equal standard based on their times. After that the individual races begin.
