FROM THE MEMORIAL GARDEN COMMITTEEThe.Memorial.Garden.Committee.is.pleased.to.report.that.final.plans.for.the.development.of the Memorial Garden with Columbarium are underway. The insert in today’s bulletin is the next necessary step to identify actual individuals who are interested in reserving a niche or space in the Memorial Garden, receiving more information, or otherwise financially.supporting.this.project.through.contributions..Our.niche.reservation.goal.prior.to.groundbreaking (proposed for this summer) is 100. We are already on our way to that goal. Please join the ranks of those who are helping to make this long-time goal a reality, and turn in your response today.

CHURCH-WIDE MISSION TRIPFor the past 13 years, we have taken a church-wide mission trip to Helena, Arkansas, and this year is your year! There are several roles where we can use your gifts: group leader/camp counselor, swim instructor, construction, youth leader, preschool teacher, music teacher, crafts leader, blessings ministry, stories on wheels ministry, and more. The dates of the trip are July 11-17. The cost of the trip is $650/person, which includes transportation, lodging, and most meals. Applications and information are available around the church, or can be downloaded from our website!

RALEIGH BAPTIST ASSOCIATION CHILDREN’S MUSIC CAMPDuring the week of June 15-18, the Raleigh Baptist Association will be offering a Summer Music Camp at New Hope Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC. Children in grades 1-6 are invited to spend a week learning the musical, “The Star Factor,” along with having devotion time, interest groups, recreation, refreshments and lots and lots of fun.
