To open gate, press the foot pedal and lift it from the middle of the top bar. The side pieces will retract allowing you to remove it if pressure fit fixing is used, or to open the gate if hinged mounted fixing is used.
To lock the gate, locate side pieces into the wall cups and push down firmly on the top bar to secure it in the closed position.
