more than 5 million travellers, making it the world’s second busiest hub

for international passengers. Passenger trac in October 2013 totalled

5.6 million, up 15.1% from 4.9 million recorded during October 2012.

2013 a 9.8% year-on-year increase, according to DTCM (November 2013).

By 2020, Dubai will welcome 20 million visitors per year, and the annual

contribution made by tourism to the city’s economy will triple.

a ow of AED 4.2 billion compared to AED 3.6 billion in 2011. According
