2014 GREETINGS FROM KELSEY

Happy Holidays!

This is one of my favorite seasons with warm hot chocolate, gingery gooey cookies and especially time with family. I hope everyone makes some time for the things that count and for others in our community. 4-H believes in service and this time of year is perfect for fitting in some of those community service activities.

I will be gone starting December 12th through January 5th to take the group of youth on an international exchange to Samoa! I am very excited and look forward to working with teenagers on this cultural experience.

We are publishing dates for Meat Quality Assurance in this Newsletter, so make sure to mark those dates on your calendar.

Have a great December and we’ll see you in the next year!

ATTENTION 4-H MEMBER AND PARENTS:

PLEASE RE-ENROLL BY FEBRUARY 1ST. IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE SO BY

THAT TIME YOU MAY NO LONGER BE GETTING THE NEWSLETTER AND

WILL NOT BE INFORMED OF UPCOMING EVENTS.

The new 4-H year began on October 1st. Online enrollment forms are available. The enrollment fee will

be going up this year due to the rising cost of processing paperwork. This is the first increase in fees in

at least 10 years. The new fee will be $15 per child and we will no longer be offering a family discount.

We appreciate your promptness in enrolling your child in the 4-H program. This will help us to know

who we need to inform of activities and events for certain projects. It is our goal to keep the

communication open and make sure everyone knows when things are taking place.
