PICKING UP YOUR CAR

BEFORE HAND-OVERTo make the most of your stay in Europe with nothing to worry about, do not forget the first step in your TravelBooklet: making advance reservations for the exclusive services of our First Class partners in the EurodriveFirst program.

AT YOUR ARRIVALPlease remember that, in order to deliver your vehicle under the best possible conditions, you must provideyour delivery centre with your appointment details or your flight number.If you do not have a flight number, then please contact your delivery centre for an appointment at least 3working days before the scheduled delivery date.

IMPORTANT

If you change your flight, train or arrival date and time, please contact our pick-up centre as quicklyas possible so that we can welcome you in the best possible conditions.

We will wait for you for 30 minutes after the agreed time and for 1 hour after flight arrival statement

Always refer to the information about your pick-up centre in the “Pick-up and drop-off centres”chapter, or the detailed information sheet for your centre that you received from your Eurodriveagent.

Inform your delivery centre of the flight number.

If you do not have a flight number, make an appointment with your delivery centre (at least three working days before the end date on your order form).

Check your flight times with your airline and inform your delivery centreof any changes.

Carefully read the “User’s Guide” in your travel booklet, which provides all the necessary information, from pick-up through to drop-off.

Bring your order form.

Bring your travel booklet.

Bring authorisation document where applicable.

Before you leave for Europe:

Make sure you have not left any personal belongings in the vehicle.

Return:

both of the vehicle’s keys or cards,

the registration documents,

the warranty booklet and the driver’s handbook,

the safety kit (reflective jackets and red triangle),

the SD card of the GPS,

the GPS remote control,

the duly completed European accident report, if you have had anaccident.

DRIVE WITH PEACE OF MINDYOUR RENAULT OR YOUR DACIA IS PROTECTED:n in case of breakdown: by the manufacturer warranty.n in case of accident, theft, attempted theft, fire, vandalism,

broken windows, punctures, lost keys or wrong fuel mustbe reported to Renault Assistance: by the deductible-free multi-risk insurance in your Renault Eurodrive contract.

EXCLUSIONSn The Eurodrive contract does not cover Impound costs fuel

leaking, mechanical incidents caused by vehicle misuse,mechanical incidents caused by towing, snow tyres andchains. Neither does it cover fines or parking tickets,telephone, restaurant/ bar, fuel or toll expenses, vehicleservicing costs, or expenses that the beneficiary wasexpected to pay as part of the planned stay in the placeof the incident (e.g. accommodation), in cases of forcemajeure (strikes, riots or “acts of god”, etc.).

n The contract does not cover events resulting fromholders’ participation in sports competitions, bets andmatches.

n In the event of theft, compensation is payable only forstolen items mentioned in the police written statement,and only on presentation of the original invoices orreceipts.

n Also, in cases of theft, no compensation is payable forexpenditure incurred in replacing identity papers, boxesand bags on the roof or any items inside such containers.

USEFUL INFOn You are no longer insured after the validity

date of your insurance certificate, and ifyou drive in a country not mentioned inthe list above.

n All persons that meet the conditions ofeligibility of the special «TT» status, candrive a «TT» vehicle. In this case, theassistance conditions only apply if theholder of the registration document ispresent in the vehicle.

n If an occupant aged over 70 dies, theclaimants shall not benefit from theguarantee protecting transported people.

n Never leave the registration documents orthe spare keys in a parked vehicle.

PICK-UP PROCEDURE

Please present:n your passport (or identity card),n a copy of your Renault Eurodrive contract.Your spouse, partner or a family member may also pick up the car and drive it, providing they present anauthorized document with your signature.Your partner must, in addition to the authorized document, present a certificate proving partnership or asworn statement of partnership with your signature.

You will be presented with several items:n vehicle registration papers,n a European accident report with instructions,n an insurance certificate,n an insurance assistance booklet,n two keys (or cards) for the vehicle,n a safety kit (fluorescent vest + and warning triangle).

CONTRACT MODIFICATIONS

EXTENDING YOUR CONTRACT

You may extend the length of your contract following the delivery of your vehicle, within the limits of theexpiration date of the vehicle’s registration certificate. To do so, contact Renault Eurodrive Monday to Fridayfrom 9 am to 4 pm, excluding public holidays:n from France : ✆ 01 76 84 99 00 01 76 89 07 93n from outside France : ✆ +33 1 76 84 99 00 +33 1 76 89 07 93You will be asked to supply the following information:n the registration number of your vehicle or the number of your Renault Eurodrive contract,n the number and expiry date of your credit card (the only authorized payment means),n the date you want to extend the contract to,n an address, an e-mail address or fax number so we can send you a new insurance certificate.

CAUTION!If you haven’t extended your contract with Renault Eurodrive, use of the vehicle becomes illegal after the date of the original contract.In addition, the customer and their passengers are no longer insured. The driver alone will be liable for damages caused to third parties.

IMPORTANT

Extension fees must be paid bycredit card.

CHANGING YOUR CONTRACTYou have 30 calendar days to change or for cancellations with

in 6 weeks of collection date, please refer to our office, as

higher fees will apply.

IMPORTANT

The following changes to your contract will be charged 300 euros if requested in the 30 days before pick-up date:

- vehicle change- pick-up location change- name/contract holder change- additional cancelation fees apply- no refunds are available for early

returns or unused days

CLAIMS

You must always make a declaration for yourEurodrive vehicle :n either an accident report with a third party (check the

insurance policy number of the third party and makesure he/she signs the document),

n or a full declaration within 24 hours (giving a detailedexplanation of the circumstances, including the vehicleregistration number, date, location, and damage notedon the vehicle).

Cases of vandalism or theft, must be reported tothe police and the original report must be sent toGSAE. The document must always be faxed to thefollowing number: +33 (0)1 76 89 00 47. Without adeclaration, the insurance company will not pay anyrefunds. The same applies to damages or incidentsaffecting rental vehicles provided further to an incidentwith your temporary transit vehicle.

n If your vehicle is replaced, due to an incident,by another rental vehicle supplied by aconventional rental operator, you will be requiredto submit a bank card receipt. Never take out anyadditional insurance.

n The rental vehicle must be dropped off with afull tank in a centre operated by the rentaloperator in question, and not in a Eurodrivedrop-off centre.

RETURNING YOUR CAR

DROP-OFF PROCEDURESCustomers are required to call their return centre threebusiness days before the scheduled drop-off date.All the information you need will be supplied during this call.You will be expected no later than 30 minutes after thearranged time.If you need to change the drop-off time:Let your return centre know as soon as possible about anychange in drop-off times, so that your local correspondent canwelcome you in the best possible conditions.If you need to change the drop-off location:To return your car to a different centre from pick-up, contactthe centre of your choice no later than three business daysbefore return date (see details of the centres on the facingpage.You will be billed for return fees outside France not settledwhen making your order.If you need to return your vehicle early:Please contact the Return Centres at least 72 hours prior toyour desired return to make an appointment. No refunds arepossible for early returns or unused days.
