FlexNet 11.11 Security ●FlexLM 9.5 no longer supported

(unsupported by Flexera). Users who

continue using it are at risk of failure.

●Users with 9.5 will need to upgrade to

11.11

●Temporary workaround. Install with 11.11

as the option and use the Licensing

Management Tool (available in Start ->

SimSci) and change Security Type to

FLXLM95

●Temporary workaround will be removed

Multiple Run Options

● In earlier PRO/II versions, the Run option would only run the basic

mass and heat balance calculations. Many output time calculations

were not run until the output file was created.

Warn if *.out is Out-of-Sync ● In earlier versions of PRO/II, an already generated *.out report would go

out-of-sync if modifications were made to the *.prz file and the *.prz file

warning messages:

Controllers and MVC Default Behavior ●Old default: If controller or MVC

reaches a limit, accept that as a

solved case.

reaches a limit, it continues

running…maybe the next loop will be

within limits. But if the simulation ends

and it is still at a limit without

achieving the target specification, it

fails and alerts user that the target is

not met.

DIPPR 2013

There are values in the SIMSCI databank that are only available in the

SIMSCI databank. If user encounters a component in DIPPR with such

situation, user can select to cascade data. What this does is allow PRO/II

to look to the next library in search for missing data.


DIPPR 2013

● IT EXPIRES IN 2024!

● Remember to stay up to date with the latest

version always.

● Coexistence issue with PRO/II 8.3 and older

● Users can have PRO/II 8.3 and 9.3 with

DIPPRL2013 installed and registered, but only

9.3 will work.

● In order to make 8.3 work, user needs to

unregister DIPPRL2013. To use it later in 9.3

user needs to re-register

● DIPPRL2013 can be registered for PRO/II 9.2.
