Giveaway! Shand and

a guest were headed to

Hawaii for the 2014 Pro

play of her fabulous trip!

Charlotte and her guest, Tom Pas,

arrived in Honolulu on Thursday,

January 23 and checked into

the Sheraton Waikiki. “We had

Saturday evening, Charlotte and

Tom attended the Pro Bowl cocktail

morning, but we were dry and comfortable

under the big white tent. The food was

absolutely the best! There was a wide

variety of choices, many of them signature

dishes from around the NFL created by

Hawaii’s finest chefs.” Charlotte and Tom

were entertained by traditional Hawaiian

dancers as they ate and drank.”We were

able to visit with NFL fans from all other

areas of the country, as well as some

Panther fans.” On their way out Charlotte

and Tom received Pro Bowl hats as a

gift to shield them from the sporadic

tropical showers– then they were on their

way across the street to beautiful Aloha

Stadium.

We asked the winners what it was like to

be a part of the action there in Hawaii,

and Charlotte responded, “We really

enjoyed the new format; fans and players

alike seemed to be having lots of fun.”

However, the PSL Owner didn’t say it was

all easy. “It

was difficult to

decide who to

cheer for since

there were three

Panthers on

each team! We

decided to just enjoy ourselves and cheer

for good plays.” When asked about their

favorite play of the evening, Charlotte and

Tom of course answered, “Mike Tolbert’s

two point conversion! We were especially

excited to see that.”

Charlotte Shand could hardly believe

she won all of that by simply clicking

on her Panthers Econnect emails. “We

had a marvelous time in Hawaii - I want

to thank the Panthers organization for

making this trip possible. As a proud

Panthers PSL Owner and avid football fan,

this was very special,” she continued. “A

big thank you to the Panthers Privileges

team for their help and attention to

details. We had a blast!” In closing, we

asked the winners what they will be up

to in the off-season, and in true Carolina

Panther fan fashion they answered ,

“looking forward to a very successful

Panthers 2014 season!”

SUPER BOWL XLVIII PANTHERS PRIVILEGES ULTIMATE DREAM TRIP GIVEAWAY By Kalen Rearden

Back in December, Paige Burgess was going about a normal day in her offi ce when

she was surprised by the Panthers Privileges team. The unexpected PSL Owner

was presented with a large boarding pass and an all-expense paid trip to this year’s

NFL Super Bowl! This month the ROAR spills the details about her experience in

New York & New Jersey this winter.

Paige and her son arrived in New York on Friday,

January 31st. Once the two of them settled into

the hotel, the Super Bowl festivities began. Paige

and her son explored the city as it was decorated

for the event of the year. “We had a wonderful time

up north. It was an awesome experience”, said

the winning PSL Owner. They continued to get

their cold weather gear ready in preparation for

Sunday’s events and Super Bowl XLVIII.

On Sunday afternoon the two bundled up and

began making their way to MetLife stadium. The

city was buzzing with excitement and anticipation

of who would be crowned World Champion! Once

they arrived, Paige and her son got ready in

their seats to watch the game millions dream

of witnessing. This year’s Championship was

certainly like no other with an unexpected fi nal

score of 43-8. “We wish that the game would

have been a little more competitive,” Burgess

explained, “however, simply being there was

super fun!”

The game itself was not the only news-worthy part

of the evening. Bruno Mars was set to perform

the coveted halftime show. The entertainment

selection had raised public scrutiny prior to the

game due to the main act’s lack of longevity in

the entertainment industry compared to past

performers. However, Burgess gave Bruno Mars,

and guest The Red Hot Chili Peppers, two thumbs

up by saying, “The halftime show was incredible!”

The winners had a blast watching the live concert

in a sold out stadium.

Although post Super Bowl weather of snow and

ice caused a delayed homecoming for the Burgess

family, they still had an incredible vacation. Paige

explained, “The only thing that could have made

the trip any better was if the Panthers had been

there”, and we couldn’t agree more!

Next year, you could be the lucky winner of this

incredible experience. Simply ensure that you

are signed up for Panthers Econnect emails and

enter to win. Paige Burgess is only one of several

Panther Privileges winners this year. She affi rms,

“My sincerest thanks to the Panthers for making

this trip of a lifetime happen for me and my son!”

Not to worry, the Panther Privileges program won’t

be taking a knee this offseason. As part of the

initiative to show all PSL Owners our appreciation

for their support, we will continue to offer new and

exciting opportunities. Keep checking your emails

for the next big chance to win!
