On Wednesday, November 26, 2014 Palau Community College (PCC) held its annual Thanksgiving Endowment Fundraiser at the Mesekiu Bai located at the center of the college campus. The fundraiser was able to raise a total of $48,011.92 through the sales of tickets ($25,810) as well as cash donations ($21,576.92) and telephone pledges ($625). Over eight-hundred individuals and local businesses purchased raffle tickets in support of the event. This year’s Thanksgiving Endowment Fundraiser had a total of fifty- five prizes most donated in kind by local businesses and individuals. The two baby grand prizes were round-trip tickets donated by United Airlines and the grand prize was a choice between a 3K Summer House or $2,000. On Wednesday, November 26, 2014 Palau Community College (PCC) held its annual Thanksgiving Endowment Fundraiser at the Mesekiu Bai located at the center of the college campus. The fundraiser was able to raise a total of $48,011.92 through the sales of tickets ($25,810) as well as cash donations ($21,576.92) and telephone pledges ($625). Over eight-hundred individuals and local businesses purchased raffle tickets in support of the event.

Johvanna Yaoch is the Associate Profes-sor of Information Technology at Palau Community College. She has been at the college for ten years. In addition to teach-ing, she is also the President of the Faculty Senate Association (FSA). Associate Pro-fessor Yaoch holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Eastern Oregon University. She also holds a Masters of Science Degree in Software Engineering from the California State University in Fullerton, California.
