Our goal is to provide compelling and relevant reading material through a Canada-wide distribution network in a publication with the lowest pricing structures for our advertisers. We offer several diverse advertising opportunities, from contract advertising, including bonus features, to monthly specials for clients who wish to book periodic advertising with FREE editorial space when booking a ¼ page or larger.

marketPlace section: We have enhanced our Marketplace Section for 2014. Not only do you have the option to book a print ad (approximately 2” x 2”) at $75 per square with the same ad on line for free, but you can now place ads “on-line” ONLY in the Marketplace Section priced at one low monthly rate for a group of ads, i.e. “up to 9 listings for $285 per month”. Post your entire fleet inventory on the Woodward Publishing website which is searchable by using key words. For optimum value, your ad will also be showcased on the front page of our website within a revolving banner. Ads can be changed on a daily basis. Monthly advertiser statistics are available that measure the number of impressions and clicks on each ad. Our website utilizes Google Analytics to track web stats for overall traffic, page views and visit time.

There are no extra charges for process colour, graphic design or special placement. Contracts for multiple insertions must be completed within a 12 month period from date of the first insertion. If, for any reason, a contract must be cancelled, there will be a charge of 25% of the remainder of the contract.

Design & ProDuction:If required, our graphic designer will help you design and create your advertisement at no extra charge. To get the best results we would need the following; a good quality copy of your logo (original artwork if possible), photos, illustrations, as digital files or scannable images. If you have an existing ad, we can re-size it if necessary. Under certain circumstances if the size of an existing ad does not match our standard dimensions and cannot be changed, we can “float” the ad within the layout of a page. “Bleeds” are accepted. Any supplied art or photographs should be at least 300 dpi if possible (lower resolutions can be used but will result in a lower quality final product). No film required, we go directly from PDF to Plate.
Proofs:A “proof” (copy) of all advertisements created or modified by the publisher (i.e. Woodward Publishing) will be e-mailed (preferred method) or faxed to the advertiser or agency prior to publication. If proofs are not returned for corrections, the publisher assumes that the proof is satisfactory and is authorized for use. All advertisers receive a print copy by mail of the publication(s) in which they appear.
comPuter environment:Our graphic design department is PC based and we primarily use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat. These applications can accept files produced on Mac computers.
file formats:We prefer that digital files be in one of the following electronic formats; Photoshop (PSD), Illustrator (AI, fonts to outlines), Acrobat (PDF, fonts included), PNG, JPG/JPEG, TIF or EPSPostscript (eps). We can, however, work with most file formats if necessary. Files can be compressed (i.e. ZIP/Stuff-It).
meDia:If files are to be supplied on physical media, we can accept USB Flash Drives, all memory cards, CD-ROM/RW and DVD.
agency commission:Woodward Publishing inc. is pleased to work with accredited advertising agencies. A 15% commission is calculated on rates before discount.
