Gooding High School Wins
Idaho 2014 Envirothon
Congratulations to Gooding High School (Team A) for
placing first at the Idaho 2014 Envirothon! Under the
guidance of advisers Becky and Dave Freiberg, the
students came well prepared and ready to compete with
the other 17 teams present. The team earned a total of
635.6 points in the competition, as well as earning first
place in the Conservation Project Poster. Gooding had a
unique opportunity to include a foreign exchange student
on their team this year. Nicolai Lohse, from Birkeroed,
Denmark said: "When I went to Envirothon, I had no
idea what to expect, but it was a lot of fun and a great
ending to my exchange student program. My trip
wouldn't have been complete without Envirothon. I met a
lot of great people and the prize money was an
unexpected treat. Thank you!" Also, the Gooding High
School C Team won second place in the competition.
Congratulations Gooding!!
