Your chore

We are MEKN apps which stands for Macy, Emily, Kurt

and Niamh. We have the idea of an app which is designed to help organize a busy household. The app helps create a rota and inform people of their chore by sending them the rota along with the date in which the chore is due. We decided to create this app in order to

help organize a household by assigning people with the app.

A problem in which the person this app is aimed at will come across includes: a single parent may be struggling to run the household and therefore needs help. Also, they may find it difficult to keep track of who's doing what chore. Your chore will

come as good use here as it organizes who is doing what.

How does it organize who's doing what chore? How can the person receiving the chore know

when the chore is due?

If someone is struggling to organize a busy household your chore will organize who is doing

what chore by selecting a chore for each person and then giving the person a date in which the chore is

due.

Our team, MEKN, is developing an appto help both parents and children solve the problem of a

busy household and make sure chores get done.

Five of the people we asked to participate in our questionnaire said that the app would not be useful

to them resulting in them saying that they would not purchase the app. Most people said rated our

app five out of five. A number of people who answered our questionnaire said that they would not use our app as it would not be useful due to

them not having scheduled chores.

The reason we chose to do your chore was because there were no other similar

apps available.

Tom in year 8 didn’t know when to do his chores and what chore to do so will the help of this app he can now know when his chores need to be done and what chore

he needs to do.

Generally speaking our feedback was positively good however most people

wouldn’t pay for this app thus we would need commercials on it

Over this period of time of the making the app we have learnt a lot to do with data and technical feasibility. However our app doesn’t rely on these to much because

our app is very simple and all it uses is sending technology.

We have chosen to make the overall app free but when/if the customer wishes to include more people

in this rota then they would be able to buy more storage. The average price of when we did the

survey was free-69p and because we have chosen to make it priced to add extra storage it would be

better for the customer.

To advertise our app we were thinking of creating an advert but instead of spending loads of money and putting on the television we would

put it on YouTube.

The final thing we would like to add is that winning would mean a lot and we would be so grateful. Thank you for listening.
