ABOUT GOSFORD CITY REBELS

The representative teams of the Gosford City Basketball Association are called the Gosford City

Rebels. The Rebels represent the Gosford City Basketball Association in statewide competitions

and are one of three Associations located on the Central Coast. The Gosford City Rebels play

out of Scholastic Sports Stadium which is situated in Terrigal.

The Gosford City Basketball Association is a relatively young Association compared to others

throughout the State . The Rebels are one of the most respected clubs within NSW and there is

a great sense of pride in the achievements of our teams, players, coaches and officials.

We annually have players and coaches actively involved in State Teams and over the years we

have had a number of our teams qualify to participate in the prestigious Under 14 National Club

Championships.

In 2000 the Rebels secured their first ever Junior State Title with our Under 12 Women and

2008 was undoubtedly one of the most successful years for the Rebels with both the Under 12

Women and Under 12 Men being crowned State Champions after phenomenal seasons. Again

in 2011 we had U16 Men take out the State Title.
