2014 Chevrolet Silverado

The all-new 2014 Silverado underwent more than 13 million miles of testing – resulting in a truck that’s stronger, smarter and more capable than ever.

All three qualities are embodied in our EcoTec3 engines. Our available 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 provides 355 horsepower while offering up to 23 hwy mpg, the most fuel-efficient gas V8 pickup engine ever. The standard 4.3L EcoTec3 V6 offers 305 lb-ft of torque, the most of any standard V6 in its class. At the top end, our available 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 offers 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.

Improvements continue beyond the hood. A boxed frame, larger axles and an available Max Trailering Package allow Silverado to offer a class-leading trailering capacity of up to 12,000 pounds. Cargo bed enhancements like the CornerStep rear bumper, pocket handgrips and optional removable cargo tie-downs make it easy to secure cargo.

The cargo bed of the new 2014 Silverado includes smart features that let you customize the way you secure cargo. Organize cargo how you want with four standard lower tie-downs and optional upper tie-downs that can be attached in numerous locations.

Integrated pocket handgrips make it easier to enter the box while stepping on the new CornerStep rear bumper. The available EZ-Lift and Lower Tailgate opens without a thud and can be closed with one hand. Available LED lamps under the bed rails make it easier to see items in the bed, even with a tonneau cover on. Standard bed rail protectors help avoid damage, load after load.
