LIVING CULTURES

• HONDURAS Heart of Centralamerica• Eight indigenous and Afro-American groups live in Honduras with his customs, values and culture:

Pech, Tawahka, misquitos, Tolupanes, Garífunas, Blacks Creoles, Chortíes and Lencas. In agreement with the last census, Honduras possesses more than 8 million inhabitants. Near 10 % of them they belong to the ethnic groups and 90 remaining % are half-caste or cunning. Each of these peoples occupies a zone or certain region, The people Pech lives inside the biosphere of the Rio Through Banana in The Mosquitia, Cultural Heritage of the Humanity. In the Alive Cultures of Honduras let's sense beforehand music folclórica, Creole dances and garífunas, traditional games, crafts with natural resources of the region, painters, draftsmen, a rich gastronomy and especially the happiness where one interacts with the visitors.

• GUATEMALA Heart of the Maya World • Only in Guatemala there was created the world of twenty-three different forms, in twenty-three

languages and with twenty-three words God was called. Here the women, spin, weave and embroider with magic threads of all the colors of the rainbow. From the golden altarpieces of the small churches, from the pyramids embraced by the green, wrapped thing in the smoke and the aromatic to sigh of the flowers, the prayers rise to meeting the divine thing. In the looms of waist or in those of pedal, the women spin the history between knots of wool and cotton to create huipilesand precious fabrics. One of the elements that makes Guatemala unique is the alive culture of the indigenous population, represented in the cultures Maya, Garínagu and Xinca. Specially in the western altiplane, the colors, traditions, languages, rituals and customs make the visitor go back to remote times and imagine the Yesterday Maya. In Guatemala descendants of the Maya live together 23 ethnic groups, each of them becomes attached to his ancient roots and they differ between them across his showy and colouring autochthonous suits. NICARAGUA Colorful experienceThe ethnic tourism of Nicaragua gives the pleasure of the discovery and to the adventure. Nicaragua, it is of fact, a place for the travelers who gasps to know the country by a direct contact with his inhabitants. The Nicaraguans, as people and culture, are multiply and interesting ethnic and racial mixture; and in the territory this has been like that since pre-Columbian times. Nowadays, it can be "nicas" of brown, white or black skin; dark eyes, color honey, green or blue; very curled, wavy or smooth hairs, in dark or clear colors. In October the Columbus Day is celebrated, and in special this one we will say to the races and etnias that they agree and they shaped the village of Nicaragua. Certainly, like etnia, the Nicaraguan tends to be considered to be the "half-caste one", a mixture between Spanish and aborigens. And this owes to that the population majority belongs to this group (more than 80 % according to official estimations). Nowadays, after more than 500 years of mixture, the half-caste ones they are the population majority in almost the whole territory. In the Carib, nevertheless, still communities exist of Supreme or Mayangnas, Branches, Misquitos and clearly identifiable Garífunasthanks to his culture and language, which, it is worth indicating, are endangered due to the population, cultural invasion and to the half-caste government. To defend his rights, the coast population fought politically and gained their autonomy less than 30 years ago. Nowadays, some international organizations identify that almost 3 % of the Nicaraguan population still speaks indigenous languages (Misquitos, Sumos and Rama).

EL SALVADOR Living TownsThe diverse municipalities of El Salvador are characterized because to cross them is an adventure full of color, amusement and warmth. We invite him to that it knows the diverse alive towns of El Salvador, their customs and traditions and the diverse attractions that it possesses. El Salvador is a destination of the Sun and beach, culture, history and of mountain, where in addition it is possible to taste of a variety of typical distinctive food of every municipality, as well as the gastronomy, crafts, folklore and Products of this one beautiful land.
