OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES: No purchase necessary to enter. Void where prohibited. 1. Complete the official printed ballot and mail to BEST OF WINNEBAGO COUNTY Awards, c/o The Oshkosh Northwestern, 224 State Street, Oshkosh, WI 54901. Official ballots are available for purchase in The Oshkosh Northwestern at The Oshkosh Northwestern office or vote online at www.thenorthwestern.com/bestof. No other means of entry permitted. No photocopies or facsimiles accepted. 2. Nominees must be clearly printed or typed. Unless specified, all nominees must be individual (s) / business (es) currently in Winnebago County. Nominees must fit the category to be counted. All entries answers should be specific in identifying the person (s) or business (es) so nominees can be located. If not, ballot is invalid. 3. Participants may enter as often as they like in the printed version, but each entry must be submitted separately and multiple entries by means of automated processes will be disqualified. The Oshkosh Northwestern (“Sponsor”) will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, postage-due, misdirected or illegible ballots. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any ballots submitted by persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this contest as solely determined by Sponsor. Online voting is also available at www.thenorthwestern.com/bestof. Only one vote per day, per url and the Ballot must be at least 50% completed to qualify for tabulation. 4. Participation in this contest constitutes an agreement by each participant to comply with these official rules. In the event the Contest is compromised by non-authorized human intervention, tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest. Should the contest be terminated prior to stated expiration date, Sponsor reserves the right to award “Best of Winnebago County Award” to designations based on the entries received before the termination date. 5. Completed ballots must be received by deadline to be counted. Deadline for submitting printed ballot is 5 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2014 and deadline for online voting is 11:59 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014. Winners will be announced in a special section in The Oshkosh Northwestern on Sunday, October 26, 2014. The contest is sponsored by The Oshkosh Northwestern whose decisions regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of the contest shall be binding and final in all respects. Sponsor will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Contest Rules or in any other materials relating to the contest. Sponsor reserves the right to eliminate any category for lack of participation. Sponsor may terminate this contest at any time without any notice. Ballots become the property of The Oshkosh Northwestern which reserves the right to publish ballot answers and responses.
