A message from Head Coach Peter Tos... It is a great thrill and honour to once again be involved with the Future Stars Annual Camp.

From our humble beginnings in 2009, the camp has grown to be an event of national

significance on the Australian junior gridiron calendar. The support of Elissa Manera and the

Bring It On Sports team has added a professional element to the administration and

organising of the camp. We have seen a steady rise in the number of athletes attending each

year and it has grown to 60 for 2014; with a number of these being repeat attendees.

Thank you also to the DownUnder Bowl organisers, coaches and players for including the

Future Stars in their tournament. This tournament provides our players the chance to

compete at a high level and against quality opposition.

I would also like to welcome our Mentor Coaches from the USA, Coach Dan Hawkins, Coach Cody Hawkins and Coach David Hill. Their experience and will be invaluable to our players and Australian coaches, Coach Paul Manera, Coach Johnathan Hepner, Coach Michael Vrcelj, Coaches' assistant Don Veale and Australian Junior Head Coach, Luke Chapman. I would like to thank camp staff member, ex-Future Star Timothy Reynolds. Finally, I would like to thank the parents and families of our Future Stars who sacrifice so much to see their children afforded the opportunity to follow their sporting dreams. The Future Stars program is more than an elite sporting program. It is for anyone who wants to get better. Its for anyone who is willing to answer the question, How good do you want to be?

A message from Paul & Elissa Manera... On behalf of Bring it on Sports we are, once again, very honoured to be

working with Head Coach Peter Tos and the Gridiron Australia Future Stars

Program for 2014. We would like to thank and welcome this years Future

Stars participants and we look forward to seeing them develop and grow as

players and individuals.

This year, we welcome 3 USA College Coaches - Dan Hawkins, Cody

Hawkins and David Hill. We are sure the players will benefit greatly from their experience in football and that they

will be able to assist our young players in their game. It is the first visit to Australia for our 3 American coaches and

we hope they have an amazing time here! We also thank and welcome our Australian Coaches - Peter Tos, Paul

Manera, Michael Vrcelj, Johnathan Hepner and Luke Chapman and we thank Don Veale and Timothy Reynolds for

joining the support staff.

Thank you to Down Under Sports for giving our young Australian football players the opportunity to participate in the

Down Under Bowl tournament which allows them compete at a high level against American High School All-Star

Teams. Last, but not least, we would like to say a very special thank you to all the parents for the support they are

showing their children and the 2014 Future Stars program - we really appreciate your efforts and feedback.

We are looking foward to 2014 being an awesome experience for all of the players, coaches and parents and we

wish the Australian Future Stars all the very best of luck for this years Down Under Bowl Campaign.

A message from the Chairman of Gridiron Australia...

A message from Coach Dan Hawkins... Future Stars/Down Under Bowl participants: I look forward to meeting all of you and experiencing the people and places in Australia! I have been in the kid business for over 30 years. I have four grown kids (all athletes and two who played gridiron collegiately) and 4 (soon to be 5) grandkids. I have coached football, baseball, basketball, and track in my career. I have coached 5 year olds all the way through professionals. I have coached men and women. No task too small or too big for us to handle. Being a great teacher and positive motivator is a must at every level. We have enjoyed making a positive difference in the lives of others and bringing the joy of sport to peoples lives. I have been a head coach, and offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, and a special teams coordinator in college. I have coached every position on offense except O line, and LBs in college. My experience has been at high school, Collegiate NAIA level, Collegiate Division 2 level, Collegiate Division 1 level, and professionally in the Canadian Football League. My goal is for the participants to have a positive, fun, and educational experience. An experience that has a positive immediate impact and lasts with you your whole life. Football is more than a game when done right- its about life. I want you to experience a safe learning environment that they can build on your skills regardless your current level of performance. Hopefully you are inspired to continue play and achieve in the sport of GRIDIRON! I am looking forward to working with all of you and developing positive relationships with everyone! Thanks!

Coach Hawk A message from Coach David Hill...

Dear Australian Future Stars Campers,

I wanted to express to each of you how excited I am to be involved with your camp

and to help the Australian gridiron continue to grow. The reputation of the camp and

the Australian coaches that are involved is very impressive. It is my goal to continue

to progress gridiron in your country and to help in any way that I can. We will do

everything we can to win both games, but our goal will be to first better each of you

on and off the field.

This is going to be an experience that none of us will ever forget and I am very humbled to have been selected.

With the coaching staff that will be in attendance, and with your hard work we can all better ourselves form this

experience. Nothing in life worth achieving comes easy, so be ready to go to work. I cannot wait to be there and to

meet each of you. Thank you all for the opportunity and for making me apart of this experience.

A message from Coach Cody Hawkins...

To All Players, Coaches, and Future Stars Family: Thank you! The first and most important thing I can express to you is my extreme gratitude for being a part of this amazing experience. I have loved the game of American Football since I was a young boy, and I look forward to sharing my knowledge, passion, and lessons with each one of you as we work to help you achieve your Gridiron Dreams. Having spent time as a collegiate and professional quarterback, I have been a part of some special things. However, my experience as the captain of the 2011 USA Men's National Team at the IFAF World Championships was the most rewarding of them all. It

was there that the power of sport was on display like I had never seen before. I made some amazing friends and lasting memories at those games, and none left a greater impression than my newfound Australian mates. Competing against them on the Gridiron was a pleasure and a privilege, but our interactions off of the field placed the Outback Men's National team on my list of all-time favorites. It has become a personal mission of mine to give back to the sport that has given so much to me, not just in the Unites States of America, but all over the world. There are great athletes all over the globe that play this amazing game, and the gift of this game is meant to be shared! I look forward to meeting each and every one of you. Whether you have been practicing for years or lacing up your cleats for the first time, I promise you that I will do everything in my power to make this a special, once in a lifetime experience for you! If there is anything that I can do to help you, be it Down Under or in the States, I will be here for you. Sport, particularly Gridiron, will forge relationships like no other moment in life can. I am blessed to be a part of your American Football journey, as you compete, lead, and better one another. These relationships and experiences learned here will go far beyond the field of play. They will serve you in the classroom, in the workplace, and in society. Football Team to the 26th Down Under Bowl Competition.

The Down Under Bowl was set up to bring USA and Australian Gridiron Players together to enhance the

game of American Football in Australia. This opportunity to share the brotherhood of football and to grow

as players and coaches through working and competing together is certainly a unique opportunity that all

of us at Down Under Sports look forward to for many years to come.

As American Coaches and Players it gives us great satisfaction to see how hard you have worked to

become better players and you have certainly brought the game of football in Australia to a higher level.

This exemplified by the growing number of players from Australia who have been able to come to the

USA and show their abilities and skills and represent Australia as great ambassadors of the game of

football down under.

Football is cerntainly a game of teamwork and everyone on the team is important and must do their best
