Dear Friends of the Iowa Credit Union Foundation,

The Iowa Credit Union Foundation (ICUF) is focused on helping Iowans build wealth, responsibility and independence with the vision to eliminate poverty in Iowa.

Thanks to your continued support, ICUF experienced a successful year. We are pleased to share with you our 2014 Annual Report that highlights our financial statement, achievements from last year as well as our list of donors who contributed $100 or more to our efforts. We sincerely thank you for your continued financial and philosophical support.

In 2014, we continued our work leading the most active and largest asset building Individual Development Account (IDA) program in the state of Iowa. This past year, more than 60 IDA savers purchased their first home, 28 savers invested in themselves through higher education, 25 savers purchased a vehicle and investments were made in five different small businesses across Iowa.

ICUF also continued to provide grants, programs and resources to Iowans throughout the state to the tune of $460,785.

Executive Director, Jaimie Miller, served on Iowa’s Financial Literacy Work Team convened by Gov. Terry Branstad and former Education Director Brad Buck in January of 2014. The work team included representatives from public and nonpublic schools, financial services, higher education and the Iowa Department of Education. They worked together throughout the year to create recommendations to ensure Iowa students are learning the financial literacy skills needed for success.

Thanks to you, we raised more than $90,000 in general contributions throughout the year including more than $20,000 at our annual Benefit Night at the 2014 Iowa Credit Union Convention and more than $17,000 at our annual Golf Classic.

Thanks to donor support and our credit union partners who believe in our shared mission to help Iowans build wealth, responsibility and independence, with the vision to eliminate poverty in Iowa, ICUF is able to continue providing these grants, scholarships and programs.

29 SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE received financial

education and built a habit of saving, resulting in $9,000 in matching funds for emergency needs, thanks to a partnership with the

Iowa Collation Against Domestic Violence.

Awarded $5,750 in

EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS through Warren A. Morrow Scholarship program.

Donated $24,182 to Children’s Miracle Network (CMN).
