Part 2: Implementing the Strategic PlanIn “Planning the Future,” Klamath Community College conducted internal and external forums to identify institutional and community needs and opportunities. The College formulated five strategic initiatives to address the needs and heighten readiness for opportunities over the next three years.

With a clear view of how the College wanted to improve, every department in the College developed its own focused strategic plan. These plans included goals, a plan of action to achieve those goals, and measurements for evaluating the effective results. Each year, the departments evaluate progress and identify successes, changes, and related budgetary needs. Each department has identified possible steps that will be useful in taking action.

Collectively, the department plans of action are “Implementing the Future” of Klamath Community College in a coordinated, purposeful manner. The steps and actions detailed in this document are representative samples, and may be changed to fit situations as they arise.
