We are working diligently with many others, as well, to find suppliers who are able to meet KWT’s design specifications enabling us to finalize the preproduction assembly. Of significance the past few months is the delivery of the following components to KWT’s shop: The alternator; the main beam and axle; the slip ring assembly; the first shipment of bearings; the tail fin; and the turbine, hub and cowling all as one part. These deliveries, in addition to receipt of other parts, have allowed KWT to progress with assembly at a steady pace. KWT is in final negotiations with the supplier of the special, direct-drive ratio system after hosting an extensive meeting last month with individuals from New England and Chicago. An order will be placed soon.
