Visitors - We are so glad you’ve come this morning to

seek the Lord Jesus Christ and worship Him together with us. Please take a moment to complete the Connection Card in the worship folder. After doing so, tear it off and bring it to the Information Center in the lobby to receive a complimentary gift bag and information about the ministries of our church.

Church Life

Window Shades Our new “building completion project” is funding for roller shades for the worship center’s windows. Gifts for this project should be designated “Windows” on your weekly offering envelopes.

Awana Clubbers Project Update Congratulations to our Awana Clubbers who raised an astounding $1,378 dollars to help the Waterworth family purchase some much needed medical equipment. Upon hearing of our kids’ initiative, Thriven Financial of Polk County gave an additional grant of $500!

Coffee and Conversation Today | 6:00 p.m. Great Room

Kim Hilleshiem will host a discussion of her book “I Thought I Was Going Crazy” this evening. Invite your friends to come and hear Kim’s story of her journey to faith in Christ. Refreshments will be served at 6:00 p.m. with the book dialogue starting at 6:30 p.m.

JOY Group Thursday, April 17 | 11:30 a.m. Great Room

The J.O.Y. Group will be meeting this Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in the Great Room for potluck. Ages 55+ are invited to attend.

Easter

Last Call for Easter Lilies Orders due today Cost $10.00 each

To celebrate Easter, we are offering you the opportunity to remember someone by purchasing an Easter lily in honor/memory of them. They will be used to decorate the worship center this Easter season and may be taken home after the Easter Sunday service. All those interested may pick up an order envelope at the Information Center. Please make checks payable to our church and place in the offering or turn it in at the Information Center. Maundy Thursday Service Thursday, April 17 | 7:00 p.m. Student Center

This year we are adding an additional service to our Holy Week schedule. Join us as we share communion together and use candles to retell the events of the night in which Jesus was betrayed.

Women’s Ministry

Women’s Movie Night - “Grace Unplugged” Friday, April 25 | 7:00 p.m.

All women and teenage daughters and granddaughters are invited to join us to view the movie “Grace Unplugged.” “Grace Trey is the ideal Christian teen who is also a phenomenal singer. But at the tender age of eighteen, after she gets the music break of a lifetime

and is thrust into the "real world" - her faith is put to the test.” Popcorn will be provided during the showing. Mark your calendars for this “girl’s night out”.

Women’s Spring Craft Workshop & Luncheon Saturday, May 3 | 12:30-3:30 p.m. Register at Information Center Cost is $10.00 per person

All women are invited to a soup and salad luncheon and craft workshop on May 3. Lunch will be served from 12:30-1:30 p.m. There is a sign-up sheet at the Information Center to bring soup or salad for the luncheon. Following the luncheon, Tammy Henderson, a talented local crafter, will teach us how to assemble and make a craft she has selected for us. The workshop cost covers the materials for the craft and is due at time of registration. Invite your family and friends to join you for an afternoon of fellowship and fun!
