We define our style as gorgeously handcrafted. We take a unique approach to documenting your wedding day our goal is to guide you into creating modern timeless works of art. We are not the traditional static wedding photographers or snapshot photojournalist. We take two very different views on photography and mesh them into one seamless vision. Samantha’s style is very posed she will sculpt a scene and prompt you to create true emotions for us to capture she is the ultimate director to stage the scenes of your wedding day. Mikey ‘s style is more detailed and loosely directed he has an eye to capture the spontaneity of the day as the scenes fall into place. together these two styles allow us to create genuine handcrafted images of your wedding day perfectly telling your story and creating timeless works of art for generations to come. We love what we do and very thankful for our wonderful clients who appreciate the time and energy we put into each and every gorgeously hand-crafted image that documents their story in the best way possible.

edItIng each and every image that is created by the Photography Smiths is hand edited we personally look and touch each image before it goes out the door. each scene is unique to the way we shot it and we take pride in ensuring that it comes out perfectly. as nikon Professionals we use only the highest quality nikon products available. Years of training have allowed us to be able to master the way a camera performs allowing us to capture images in camera consistent with our vision. this allows us the ability to create a look that’s clean and colorful. We don’t use a variety of actions or follow popular editing trends.

detaIlSWe know you put a lot of time and energy into planning your wedding. Picking flowers, colors, food, cen-terpieces, and the list goes on. We know this day will be the most planned and photographed day of your life something you have dreamed about for years. In the end the flowers die the music is turned off guest leave and all that remains will be the photographs created. It’s our job to preserve those details so you can cherish them forever.

PoSIng We know it’s never easy to just stand there are 2 photographers buzz around you telling you to just act natural as we fire off multiple shots per second. Instead Samantha will sculpt a scene; we find the best lighting and a dramatic spot to place you to serve as the backdrop from there you will be placed into poses and prompted allowing us to capture emotions and reactions showing your true connection and love.

at those times when natural light is not the best option available to create amazing images we are well trained on studio lighting techniques. It will not matter what Mother nature has in store for you on your wed-ding day we will be ready to use every means necessary to create amazing images with you.

tip: We love when we can sneak our couples out of the reception around sunset and create amazing images. So when planning your wedding if that is something you would be interested in having please allow us about 15 minutes around sunset.

do we get high resolution photos?

absolutely we love for our clients to share and enjoy

their images. You will also receive a printing release

allowing you to have prints made wherever and

whenever you like.

how long until we see our photos?

each image is carefully reviewed and selected to be

edited. From there we will fully edit all images before

uploading to your gallery. Since we do not bulk pro-

cess any images from your day this does become a

time consuming process which can typically take any-

where from 30-60 days.

how do we view our images?

We use PaSS which is a secure online digital deliv-

ery system that is completely integrated with social

media. From your PaSS galleries you can share to

Facebook/twitter download all the high resolution

files on your computer and view them from any

device with an internet connection any time 24-7. We

also offer a full assortment of professional print prod-

ucts available right from within your gallery.

how do I book?

We love to meet with our couples in person when pos-

sible. If you feel like we are a good fit please just drop

us an email and we can take it from there. If you’re out

of state/country we love to Skype and from there we

can send over a digital contract and retainer invoice.

how many photographs do you take?

We take as many as necessary to document your day

to the fullest. We bring an ample supply of memory

cards. after your wedding we will sort and organize

the best of the best that truly showcase the beauty of

your wedding day.

FrequentlY aSked

do you have a second photographer?

Since we are a husband and wife team you will be

receiving two lead photographers on your wedding

day. occasionally we will bring on an assistant or an

additional photographer who is looking to gain learning

experience.

What kind of equipment do you use?

We use nikon Professional gear. We have a variety of

high quality lenses and camera bodies that we bring

with us to every wedding. We also continue investing in

high end equipment to give our clients the best image

quality available.

do you travel for weddings?

We love to travel it’s one of our favorite things to do. We

are available for travel worldwide; in addition there are a

few locations around the globe we would be thrilled to

shoot a wedding at so if you are getting married at an

awesome destination don’t hesitate to ask.

do we need to include you on the guest list?

We do not require our couples to reserve a place for us

however it is appreciated. however we do not typically

sit down to enjoy dinner there are a few things we use

that time for to regroup before the rest of the reception.

We stay close by to ensure we don’t miss anything but do

not take photos of you and the guest eating.

do we have to order a certain amount of prints from

you?

no. We do offer a full array of affordable professional

print products to you from within your gallery if you

choose. You will also receive a print release giving you

the ability to print as much as you like from wherever

you like; we highly recommend mpix.com they have a

about the PhotograPhY

SMIthS

Meet theSMIthS

We want you to make the best decision possible when selecting your wedding photographers. We will be spending the majority of the day by your side so with that in mind here is a sneak peek into our lives.

We loVe working together it is an amazing feeling being able to share a passion and business with your best friend. We have been married for 4 years and have one adorable 3 year old son. We grew up together and have known one another for most of our lives while we won’t get into who spent their time chasing who the important thing is we couldn’t be happier now. running a business and juggling family time with a 3 year old that we can’t say no to can become a little hectic at times. one thing we try and do is always find time for one another which is normally in the form of snug-gling up on the couch and watching a movie. It’s our time to escape and unplug from the world and just enjoy being a couple. I encourage all our couples to find that one thing you both can do together to just relax and escape and make sure you set aside time to do it each and every week.

For things we love and more inside scoops on our lives please check out the Meet the Smiths page on our website.

like what you have seen so far?

If so we love to meet our couples in per-son. For those who are out of state we can schedule a phone or Skype meeting. We find these meetings to be a great oppor-tunity to get to know one another better and answer and questions you may have.

ready to reserve your wedding date?

all we will need is a signed contract and retainer. the retainer is used to secure your date it is 50% of your wedding col-lection and is subtracted from the total which is due one month before your wedding date. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. once you know you are certain you would loVe to have the Photography Smiths document your day we encourage you to act fast as its common we receive multiple inquires on popular dates.
