We recruit and train women and youth in poverty to complete digital tasks for a living wage. These workers gain life-changing skills and experience.

We track the paths our workers take out of poverty in order to determine the longitudinal impact of formal employment.

New survey findings suggest that Samasource allows workers to develop in-demand skills, increase their earning power, and invest in further education. Formal employment empowers our workers to pull themselves out of poverty sustainably.

Samasource introduces unemployed and vulnerably employed workers worldwide to the formal economy: Fair wages, stable hours, and professional work environments.

After completing digital projects sourced from Samasource clients like Google, Microsoft, and LinkedIn, our workers report significant gains in skills. The categories below show which skills our workers value most.
