For those of you unable to attend previous events you still have time to enjoy an evening of Triumph Mo- torcycles with a light buffet provided free of course on December 2nd starting at 7.30pm at City Bus Social Club and again the Christmas Party on December 7th at Park- way Social Club Ernesettle, tickets on sale for only £6 per person. 2014 will soon be upon us and of course the AGM which will give those of you who have been club members for at least the previous 12 months the golden opportunity to have your say on who is elected to the committee and your chance to serve on the committee and therefore put forward your ideas to further enhance what is after all the biggest and best club in the West. Look on the Club notice board at City Bus where you will find a sheet to put forward your name for any position you feel you could fill on the Committee for 2014. You will need a proposer and second and if no-one else wants that position then no vote is needed at the AGM. All positions are open so don't sit on your a** and moan. This is your opportunity to make a difference “use it or lose it” !!!!!!!!! Club nights at City Bus from December 16th will have something slightly different on offer. An opportunity for Club members to bring their bike into the hall and talk about modifications, places they have been etc. This idea was put forward by Cheyenne who has bravely volun- teered to be the first. Please come along and support your fellow Club member in this. The following pages contain some highlights from the previous social events since the last newsletter. Steve Ford . Monday 21st October

A very good evening at City Bus Social Club which saw not one but twolocal businesses give up their evening to come along and show us someitems which could enhance our pride and joy.

Rob from South West Koatings who brought along some fantastic exam-ples of powder coating, hydrographics and paint work which can be ap-plied to any panels whether it be your bike, car, crash helmet or whatever.

Rob can be contacted on 07779546137 at 25 Holly Court, St. Modwen Rd,Parkway Ind. Est. Marsh Mills.

Dave and James from Dave Nicholls Upholstery brought lots of examplesof bike seats which can be recovered in the original materials or one fromtheir extensive range of coverings. They are able to make it easier on theposterior by inserting a Gel compound into your existing foam base with-out making the seat height any bigger for those of us who are challenged inthe leg department. Your existing cover can then be replaced or upgradedwith something special.Dave, his partner Dawn and James are able to look after all your re-upholstery needs whether it be for your bike, car, motor home, caravan orin the home.

Dave Nicholls Upholstery can be contacted on 01752 6000404 or mobile0777353535 or pay them a visit at Unit 54-55 Faraday Mill Business ParkFaraday Rd, Plymouth where they will be pleased to advise and quote .

Editors note. I have been contacted by both of the above who thank theClub for their hospitality and excellent buffet provided and both arepleased to report that they have received orders from club members whichhave been completed. Many thanks to the few of you who were in the UK on this day who didventure out in support of this obviously very successful evening . Ciao amici benvenuti nostra serata Italiana con motocicli GT

You guessed it you lovers of motocicli Italiana this was the evening GTMotorcycles brought their offerings of beautifully designed motorcyclesfor us to peruse and drool over. Many aspire to all different makes of motorcycle and here at the club wehave a mix of Triumph, Harley, Yamaha, Suzuki, even a Norton and manymore but it’s the romantic connotations conjured up by anything Italianthat makes many of us dream of riding into the sun along the Amalfi coastin Southern Italy on a red V twin cylindered Ducati or Aprilia or MotoGuzzi. Then we wake up and remember all the stories about rubbish elec-trics and expensive servicing. What's that I hear! Simon from GT Motorcycle's thanking us for invitinghim and the crew to our club and telling us about the reliability of the newDucati’s in particular with their new water cooled engines and very quietclutch baskets. Service intervals are much extended, not so complicatedand therefore costs are on par with the majority of marques.Great number of bikes to look at and sit on. Many thanks to Simon andGT Motorcycles. Enjoy a break at Legends Café and meet the team.
