Music Representatives (UK & Ireland) 2013
This document lists contact details for Trinity College London public centres for music examinations. These centres are open to all. The centres are listed by regions within the UK. Please note that the town or city listed is the normal location of the examination venue but the addresses listed are the contact details for the Local Area Representative. Applicants should contact the Local Area Representative for details of the venue. Local Area Representatives are responsible for organising examinations. Entries should be sent to the Representative by the closing date shown and not to Trinity’s London Office unless advised to do so. The dates given show the first day (Monday) of the week(s) in which practical examinations will take place, unless otherwise specified. Please contact the Representative for details. Please be aware that due to high numbers of entries, the examinations may go into a second and third week — please confirm with the Local Area Representative for details. Closing Dates 2013 For centres within the ‘Peak Examination Period’ please see the closing date below. Please note, all centres will have a specific examination week, please see the list of individual centres below for specific examination weeks. Centres which have examinations outside of the ‘Peak Examination Period’ will have a separate closing date (Please check list). Please contact your local representative to confirm details. We will continue to offer specialist examiners in some circumstances: - At Percussion centres, please see separate booklet - At the Guildhall School of Music & Drama sessions held each term - At a limited number of other public centres marked (S) providing there is sufficient demand.
Additionally, applicants with enough candidates may use the Examiner Visit Scheme and request a specialist examiner. Further details are available from Trinity College London. Trinity College London reserves the right to change examination dates and cannot guarantee any particular date. Final dates are dependent on many factors including level of entries and venue availability. Please check with the Centre Representative for details. This listing may change during the year. Please refer to the website www.trinitycollege.co.uk/music for details. Diplomas Fellowship examinations may only be taken at the London Centre. LTCL and ATCL Diplomas may normally only be taken at centres marked (D) but it may be possible to enter at other centres providing this is discussed and agreed with Centre Representatives in advance.
