Report from Chair of ISA Arts Congratulations to all those schools who participated in this year’s National Drama competition. I was delighted to see several new schools taking part in both the North and the South. We had 647 students take part and we had 33 plays and musicals to judge. The age range taking part was 4 to 18. This year there were an increased number of original works which were excellent. Our adjudicator this year was Ms Elle Knight Bed, LLAM, FRAM. She thought that the standard of work was very high and complemented everyone who took part. Next year we are intending to hold the competition on Friday and Saturday in both regions. I would like to express the associations thanks to The Hammond School and Hurst Lodge School for hosting the competition and to Julia Edwards and Bart Lee and their respective technical crews for their organisation.
