GSUGeneral DescriptionThis event is for troops with girls ages 11-18 who would like to learn new things, hangout with older Girl Scouts from across the state and enjoy a weekend at Camp Pisgah.We have an exciting selection of courses for each girl in your troop to individuallyregister.
Meals and Housing ArrangementsWe will serve a light snack on Friday night, three meals and an evening snack onSaturday, and breakfast on Sunday morning. To better assist our kitchen staff, werequest that all adults rotate kitchen duties. If anyone in your troop has special dietaryrequirements, please make a note on your registration form. Housing will be assignedwhen you check-in according to weather conditions and the size of your group. All ofCamp Pisgahs housing has electricity and a nearby bathhouse.
Registration and FeesFor all girls attending this event, the program fee is $60, which covers all food, programsupplies and a t-shirt (for girls and adults). Your troop must bring at least two currently
registered Girl Scouts adult chaperones; their cost is $60 per adult. The fee for eachadditional adult is also $60. For troops with less than five girls attending, one troopleader will be sufficient. Girls will sign up for classes on Friday, April 19. Register forGSU online through eBiz athttp://gsusa.ebiz.uapps.net/vp/CampActivities.aspx?pid=33.Registration closes April 5th.
ConfirmationsA confirmation packet will be sent to you via email two weeks prior to the event. It willinclude driving directions, a suggested packing list and other helpful information. Youwill also receive a full schedule of events for the weekend.

Xtreme Archery:Lets see your archery skills as you complete various challenges to rack up points for your team.
Treasure Island:Navigate through magical Lake Pisgah and collect hidden treasures along the way but dont tip!
Pisgah School of Outdoor LeadershipWalk the Plank: Prepare yourself for the adventure of a lifetime on our brand new Low Ropes Challenge Course.
Rock Climbing:Be amongst the first girl scouts to scale the new Camp Pisgah Climbing Wall Belay on!
PA Core Training: Learn all the skills you will need to become a dynamic Program Aide. This course is mandatory for all
girls grades 7-12 desiring to work as Program Aides for Day Camp this summer at Pisgah, Ginger Cascades or Keyauwee.
Pisgah Office of Service LearningOn Sunday, we will all roll up our sleeves and take part in the Girl Scouts National Weekend of Service. This is a great
service learning opportunity for every participant. Select any one of the six groups to join forces with on this day.
Santas Little Helperswill construct toys for the animals in the petting farm.
Green Thumb Girls will take part of an annual tradition of planting a garden near the amphitheater.
Barn Babes will help get the barn ready for all the horse programs it will host this summer.
Landscape Ladies will make the camp grounds look fabulous by clearing trails and maintaining the camps green areas.
Bunk Artisans will prep and paint all the wooden bunks on camp. This will help them last for years and years to come!
Welcome Committee members will create care packages and visual displays to welcome the 2013 Camp Pisgah staff.
