you say it, “thank you” is one the most
important phrases that one will learn in
any language. Our parents and no-
doubt yours as well have programmed
this phrase into us from the time that
we were little. Our theme this year talks
about being thankful, but takes this
issue beyond just saying “thank you”
for the things we get. Our theme verse,
1 Thessalonians 5:18 says to “Give
thanks in all circumstances.”
Paul talks about giving thanks in
everything—not just when we receive a
gift, but in all situations. It’s not just
about saying thank you; but it’s about
developing an overflowing heart of
thankfulness – an attitude of
gratitude. Come and join us this year
as we learn to develop an attitude of
gratitude through worship time,
speakers, small groups, and various
activities (yes,.. these activities include
a rockin’ awesome pool party )

Accommodations: Comfort Inn, 915 Fairmont Blvd, Rapid City, SD. Phone: 605-718-4444 Rooms available at group rate ($62+tax) until Feb. 1st. Call and make your reservations soon because there are only 30 rooms available!! Locations: Calvary Baptist Church, located 1.5 miles south of Rapid City, on Hwy. 16 This event continues to be non-denominational.
