ONE OF THE NATION’S BESTThe Huskies have been one of the most successful programs in not only the PSAC and the region but the nation over the past decade-plus. Since the beginning of the 2000 season, only three Division II teams have more victories than Bloomsburg - the Huskies are tied for fourth with Tuskegee (AL) with 129 wins and are fifth in winning percentage at .801.

NATIONAL RECOGNITIONThe Huskies moved to No. 5 in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Top 25 announced Monday, Oct. 28. The Huskies moved up to No. 6 in the latest edition of the D2Football.com national Top 25 last Tuesday. The Huskies also began the season ranked in multiple other national polls. Lindy’s Football Annual tabbed BU at No. 10 in Division II while The Sporting News listed the Huskies at No. 17 in the country.

MORE RECORDS FALL TO QUITEHFranklyn Quiteh had yet another day for the record books in Week 7 at East Stroudsburg, setting a new school record for rushing yards in a single game with 304. That broke the old record of 300 set by Jerry Marks vs. Mansfield in 1991. He had 28 carries, averaging 10.9 yards per rush and had eight carries of 15 or more yards. It was also his 11th game of over 200 yards rushing. Quiteh set the record wearing jersey No. 8 to honor the memory of friend and Pocono Mountain West high school teammate Jon Mangual who was killed in a 2008 automobile accident and is buried just outside ESU’s Eiler-Martin Stadium.

The performance allowed Quiteh to shatter a national record in the process - it was his 38th game of over 100 yards rushing in his career. Quiteh now has more 100 yard games than any other player in Division II history - the previous record of 37 was held by Danny Woodhead (Chadron St., 2004-07) and Xavier Omon (Northwest Mo. St., 2004-07). He now has 39 career 100-yard rushing games following the Week 8 win over Cheyney.

RECORDS READY TO FALLSenior running back Franklyn Quiteh seemingly sets new records on a weekly basis these days and has a great opportunity to write his name atop the PSAC and school record books again on Thursday. He needs one touchdown to tie the PSAC and BU record of 85 overall touchdowns held by Huskies alum Jamar Brittingham set between 2004-07. Quiteh is also three rushing touchdowns off the school and conference mark of 83 held by Brittingham. Entering Thursday, he has at least two rushing touchdowns in 10

straight games and in 15 of the last 16. Quiteh is also 12 points away from Brittingham’s PSAC career record of 516. Further, he needs six carries to break the all-time PSAC record of 943 held by Gerald Thompson (Edinboro, 1995-98).

THAT WAS THENShippensburg swept a pair of games from the Huskies last year, winning a 49-42 shootout during the regular season before racing to a 58-20 win in the NCAA Playoffs on its home turf. The common thread in both games was Ship quarterback Zach Zulli and the Raiders passing game. Zulli tossed for 496 yards and seven touchdowns in the first meeting and then threw for 479 yards and three scores in the playoff win. Those performances were highlights for Zulli’s Harlon Hill-winning resume last season as he finished with 4,747 yards and 54 touchdowns passing in the most prolific season in Shippensburg history a year ago.

DOUBLE DIPPINGBloomsburg will play two games in the span of a week following its Week 8 victory vs. Cheyney last Saturday and now Thursday’s Week 9 tilt vs. Shippensburg. The last time Bloomsburg played two football games in six days happened 67 years ago in 1946 when the Huskies played Mansfield on a Monday and Lock Haven the following Saturday.

HARLON HILL FINALISTS HEAD-TO-HEADThursday’s game features two of the three 2012 Harlon Hill finalists as Shippensburg quarterback Zach Zulli won the award last year and Bloomsburg’s Franklyn Quiteh finished third in the balloting. Quiteh has enjoyed much personal success against the Raiders – in four career games, he averages 172 yards per game and has scored nine career touchdowns in the series. Zulli, meanwhile, has posted a 2-1 record vs. the Huskies and has been outstanding in the rivalry, averaging 431 yards per game through the air with 12 total touchdowns.

THEY KEEP THE HOME FIRES BURNINGThe 2013 season is the 40th in the history of Redman Stadium. Bloomsburg has won its last 10 games at home, not tasting defeat on home turf since a 24-21 loss to LIU Post on Oct. 29, 2011. In 2012 Bloomsburg was 5-0 at home, the 10th year the team has been undefeated. The Huskies all-time record in Redman Stadium is now 138-66-4.

M A K I N G H I S T O R YSenior running back Franklyn Quiteh is re-writing the PSACrecord books this season by setting the conference’s all-time record for most career rushing yards. Quiteh broke the record with an eight-yard carry in the fourth quarter at Edinboro in Week 2 as part of a 231-yard performance. Quiteh is currently the leading active rusher in all NCAA divisions (FBS, FCS, II, III) - by a wide margin. His career total is over 1,000 yards more than his closest follower, Melikke Van Alstyne of Division III’s Framingham State (5,493). Quiteh also is the NCAA active leader in rushing yards per game (159.3), all-purpose yards (7,231), rushing touchdowns (80) and total TDs (84). Quiteh has rushed for over 100 yards in 39 of 43 career games and 24 of the past 25.

-He is 1,114 yards away from the DII record of 7,962 held by Danny Woodhead of Chadron State, 2004-07.

-His 39 100-yard games is the all-time DII record. -He enters the Shippensburg game with 938 rushing attempts, just five away from the all-time PSAC record of 943 (Gerald Thomp-

son, Edinboro, 1995-98). In Week 7 he passed Shippensburg alum and current Green Bay Packer John Kuhn’s 910 carries from

2001-04.-Quiteh also stands three rushing touchdowns away from the all-time PSAC mark of 83 held by Bloomsburg product Jamar

Brittingham. He is one off the total TD record of 85, also held by Brittingham.

IRONMAN STECKSenior center Chris Steck has turned in a tremendous career anchoring the often dominant Bloomsburg offensive line. The Mt. Carmel product stepped in as a freshman in 2010 and hasn’t missed a beat, starting 44 straight games. That longevity is believed to be a school record. The multi-time All-PSAC East as well as 2012 NCAA All-Super Region I selection has been a key player in Bloomsburg’s ability to record 315.8 yards per game on the ground last season and over 340 yards per contest this year and has been in the lineup for all of Franklyn Quiteh’s record-setting career at running back.

GREAT EIGHTWith his fourth straight season of over 1,000 yards rushing, Franklyn Quiteh has joined an elite group of only eight players in NCAA Division II history to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark four times. He joins Joique Bell, Wayne State (MI), 2006-09; Danny Woodhead, Chadron St., 2004-07; Chris Washington, Concord-St. Paul, 2000-03; Damian Beane, Shepherd, 1996-99; Jarrett Anderson, Truman, 1993-96; Jeremy Monroe, Michigan Tech, 1990-93 and Johnny Bailey, Texas A&M-Kingsville, 1986-89 as the only players to accomplish the feat. Bloomsburg alum Jamar Brittingham missed being the ninth player by just nine yards – he rushed for 991 yards as a freshman before surpassing 1,000 yards the next three seasons.

DUO ON SENIOR BOWL WATCH LISTBloomsburg seniors Brian Clarke and Larry Webster have received spots on the 2014 Senior Bowl Watch List. The watch list includes more than 400 student athletes from nearly every level of college football. These are the players who are looking to fill the 110 roster spots that form the North and South squads for the nation’s premier all-star game. Rosters will be announced in January with the game held on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 in Mobile, Ala., and televised on the NFL Network.

GHOULS OF GOLDBloomsburg University is getting in the spirit of Halloween on Thursday, sponsoring a Halloween costume contest for all students. The winner receives $1,000 in on-campus dining dollars.

HUSKY-SIZED YARDAGEThe Huskies posted 627 yards of total offense in their win at East Stroudsburg in Week 7, the second time this season the team has surpassed 600 total yards – also doing so in their 41-13 Week 1 win vs. Stonehill (642). For the year, Bloomsburg averages 499.9 yards per game, good for fourth in the PSAC. The team is currently on a record pace – the school record for team yardage per game is 484.0 set during the 1996 season.

RUN THE BALL, STOP THE RUNThe Huskies have become one of the most successful programs in the PSAC thanks in large part to a physical style and ability to control at the point of attack. This has been evident so far through seven games this year as the Huskies have been one of the best teams in the nation at running the ball as well as stopping the run. BU has outrushed its opposition by a 2,718-648 margin on the year and has surrendered only three rushing touchdowns. Bloomsburg ranks fifth in the country in both rushing offense and sixth in rushing defense.

RUN, HUSKIES, RUNBloomsburg has established a new school record, rushing for more than 350 yards in a game five times this year. The Huskies broke the record of four set by the 2004 team in Week 7 when Bloomsburg finished with 389 yards on the ground at East Stroudsburg. BU also rushed for over 350 yards vs. Stonehill (457), Lock Haven (409), Edinboro (383) and Gannon (351). For the season, the Huskies average 339.8 yards per game on the ground. The school record is 315.8 set last year.

HUSKIES IN ELITE COMPANYWith their 52-38 win at East Stroudsburg in Week 7, the Huskies have won seven or more games in 15 consecutive seasons. Only five schools in the divisions of the NCAA have longer streaks: Florida, Florida State and Virginia Tech in the FBS; NW Missouri in Division II; and Mt. Union in Division III. The 15-year streak is also a PSAC record, breaking IUP’s mark of 13 set from 1984-1996.

TURNING RED INTO POINTSWhen in the red zone this season, the Huskies have not squandered scoring opportunities. Through the first eight games of the year, the Huskies rank fourth in the nation in red zone efficiency, scoring in 32 of its 34 trips to the red zone, good for a 94.1 percent success rate. The Huskies have punched into the end zone 25 out of their 34 red zone trips. The only two times BU has not scored in the red zone was while running out the clock at the end of the game vs. Stonehill and at Gannon.

SHIRK STARS IN THE MIDDLEJustin Shirk shifted to middle linebacker for this season and the team tri-captain has excelled in that role. The PSAC Co-Defensive Player of the Week for Week 7 leads the team and ranks sixth in the PSAC with 68 tackles on the year. A two-sport star, Shirk won the NCAA Division II national javelin championship in 2012, becoming the first Bloomsburg national champion in men’s track and field in school history.

HUTTON HEADS UP RECEIVING CORPSSenior wide receiver Glenn Hutton Jr. has been the veteran leader of the Huskies young receiving corps as the only BU receiver with starting experience entering the season. Hutton has served as quarterback Tim Kelly’s favorite receiver this season, leading the team with 29 receptions. Last week vs. Cheyney, he led the team with five catches – Hutton, a former quarterback, has paced the Huskies in receptions the past five weeks. He’s also set career highs in receptions (29), yards (468) and touchdowns (6).

BREAKING UP THE PARTYRedshirt sophomore safety Donovan Morris came in with a field goal block on a 20-yard attempt from Cheyney last week. The block was the Huskies’ first field goal block since Cole Parkinson had one vs. Millersville on Oct. 6, 2012, and was the first of Morris’ BU career. He’s also tied for first in the PSAC in pass breakups with eight this year.

MR. EFFICIENTQuarterback Tim Kelly threw for a season-high 238 yards while completing 17 of 22 pass attempts with one touchdown through the air and one on the ground in the Week 7 win at ESU. Kelly’s rushing touchdown came on a bootleg that resulted in a career-long 41 yard scamper down the sidelines. Entering the Shippensburg game, Kelly leads the PSAC and is eighth in the nation in passing efficiency at 171.4 – he’s completed 85 of 131 attempts for 1,245 yards and 13 touchdowns with four interceptions in his second season as the starter. Kelly also recently moved into seventh place in school history with 35 career touchdown passes and ninth in passing yards with 3,038.

GOING BACK FOR SECONDSBloomsburg has outscored its opposition in all four quarters this season, but has dominated opponents in the second quarter. The Huskies have not always burst out of the gate, watching opponents score first three times. By the second quarter, though, BU fires on all cylinders, outscoring opponents by a 125-31 margin during the second period.

FISHER ON MITCHELL AWARD HONOREE LISTDanny Fisher was named to the Fred Mitchell Award honoree list for the month of September and October for his work on the field and in the community. Fisher has made good on eight of 10 field goal attempts. Away from the field, he raised over $5,000 for the Angelman Syndrome Foundation through his ‘Kick for a Cure’ initiative.

For each field goal and extra point he kicks this season, he will donate money to the ASF toward raising awareness and work on a cure for Angelman Syndrome, a neuro-genetic disorder with no cure requiring lifelong care for symptoms including developmental delay, lack of speech, seizures and walking and balance disorders. Fisher developed Kick for a Cure to help a close family friend who suffers from the disease.

Through eight weeks, Fisher has now raised over $5,000 for the ASF. For more information, visit www.angelman.org.

A former basketball player who owns the all-time Bloomsburg career record for blocked shots (175) and was the 2011-12 PSAC East Defender of the Year, he has 9.0 sacks for the year. He ranks second in the PSAC behind Shippensburg’s Jake Metz, who has 10 sacks. In Webster’s brief Huskies football career he has 22.5 sacks in 20 games. Webster has an NFL pedigree - his father, Larry Webster Sr., played 11 years at DE in the NFL, winning a Super Bowl with Baltimore in 2001.

PUTTING UP THE POINTSThe Huskies are 106-3 when scoring 40 points all-time following their 52-38 win at East Stroudsburg in Week 7. Bloomsburg has tallied 40 or more points in five of its first eight games this season - the all-time school record is seven games of 40+ points set three times (2005, 2007, 2012).

SECONDARY MAKING NOISE Bloomsburg picked up two key interceptions in the victory at East Stroudsburg in Week 7. First, cornerback DJ Robinson ended ESU quarterback Matt Soltes’ streak of 211 attempts without an interception when he picked off a Soltes pass in the third quarter. Jonathan Patrick then sent the Huskies toward victory with his fourthquarter interception of Soltes with Bloomsburg holding a seven-point edge. Ezra Ranco added his first career INT vs. Cheyney in Week 8. BU now ranks third in the PSAC with 12 interceptions behind only IUP (15) and Lock Haven (13). Patrick, Robinson and Tomas Cabrera lead the team with three interceptions apiece while Tyler Knoblauch also has two and Ranco one.

CONVERTING ON THIRD DOWNBloomsburg has converted 48.9 percent (44 of 90) of its third down situations this year, the best mark in the PSAC and sixth-best in the nation. East Stroudsburg stands second by converting 45.8 percent (55 of 120) of its third downs.

WORKING QUICKThough Bloomsburg is known for its bruising running attack, the Huskies have been able to score quickly as often as any team in the PSAC this season. So far on the year, Bloomsburg has tallied 51 scoring drives – of those scoring drives, 32 have taken just 2:59 or less including 19 scoring drives of under two minutes.

MAKE YOURSELF AT HOMEThe trip the Huskies made to East Stroudsburg in Week 7 was a homecoming for Franklyn Quiteh who played his high school ball at nearby Pocono Mountain West. Quiteh has felt right at home when playing ESU the past four seasons, racking up 956 career yards in four games vs. the Warriors including his two highest rushing totals – 282 yards last season and 304 yards this year. The all-time record for yards rushing by one player against a single opponent is 1,052 set by Ian Smart by LIU Post vs. Bentley – however that total included five games.

FIRST TRIPS TO PAYDIRTThree Huskies scored their first career touchdowns in the 38-14 victory at Gannon in Week 5. Redshirt sophomore fullback Derek Burkhard made his first career reception one to remember by taking a screen pass 42 yards for the game’s first scoring play. Redshirt freshman tight end Aaron Allison found the end zone in the fourth quarter with a juggling 20-yard touchdown catch. Finally, redshirt freshman running back Joe Parsnik broke off a 34-yard scoring run to finish the scoring – also registering his longest career rush in the process.

STARTING OFF RIGHTWith the Huskies win over Lock Haven in Week 4, interim head coach Paul Darragh became the first coach in Bloomsburg history to begin his tenure at the helm of the program with a 4-0 record. Jack Yohe (1952), Thornley Booth (1926) and George Harry (1909) previously started 3-0 but all lost their fourth games.

PUTTING IN EARLY WORKFranklyn Quiteh put up 114 yards during the first half of the Week 8 win vs Cheyney on the way to and did not return to the game in the second half with a 35-0 lead. The performance put Quiteh over 100 yards rushing before halftime for the 17th time in his career – his best-ever first half showing is his 186-yard first half total in a win at Millersville on Sept. 25, 2010. The all-time PSAC leading rusher also has 11 games of over 200 yards rushing following his school-record day of 304 yards at ESU on Oct. 19.

QUITEH 6KWith 205 yards rushing against Lock Haven, Franklyn Quiteh became the first player in PSAC history to rush for 6,000 yards in a career. He finished the day with 6,116 yards and is now one of 13 players in Division II history to reach the milestone.

IT’S OLD HATDanny Fisher has kicked at least one field goal in 29 games, stretching out his own school record. He broke the record with two field goals in the season-opening win vs. Stonehill, breaking the previous mark of 24 set by Jon Koenig from 2006-09. He enters the Shippensburg game with 54 career 3-pointers.

WAGNER HANDLES THE PUNTINGOne of two true freshmen on the active roster to start the season, Will Wagner has taken over the Huskies’ punt duties. The native of Wernersville has impressed in his first eight games, averaging 38.2 yards per punt in 26 attempts. He booted a new career long of 59 yards at Kutztown, one of three punts of 50-plus yards, and has pinned the opposition inside the 20 11 times.

GETTING OFF ON THE RIGHT FOOTRedshirt freshman Andrew Harris made a strong first impression during Bloomsburg’s season-opening win over Stonehill, debuting with the Huskies by leading the team in tackles with eight along with a tackle for loss and pass breakup. Harris earned the start in Week One as a late addition to the lineup at the will linebacker position. In Week Two, Harris backed up Garrett Pope, but continued to make waves. He quickly established a new career-high in tackles with 11 including 1.5 tackles for loss. After eight games, Harris ranks second on the team in tackles with 50, behind only team captain middle linebacker Justin Shirk (68).

CONTINUING THE TRADITIONWhile there is new leadership for the Huskies on the sidelines this season under interim head coach Paul Darragh, much has remained the same with the BU attack. Under former head coach Danny Hale, the Huskies made their name with a power running game. During Hale’s tenure, 23 separate players put up at least one game of 100 or more yards rushing. Following Joe Parsnik’s 101-yard performance vs. Lock Haven, Darragh already has three 100 yard rushers with Parsnik, Franklyn Quiteh and Dai’Shon Munger.

COLORING RECORD BOOK MAROON & GOLDFranklyn Quiteh has plenty of BU company atop the PSAC rushing list. Now that Quiteh owns the career conference rushing record, the Huskies occupy three out of the top four all-time PSAC rushing spots - Quiteh, Jamar Brittingham (5,689 yards from 2004-07, second) and Irv Singler (5,105 from 1994-97, fourth).

DII’S FINESTDuring preseason, D2Football.com unveiled its top 100 players in all of NCAA Division II. The Huskies were extremely well represented in that poll, placing three players in the top 11 and five in the top 100 – including taking the top spot. Senior running back Franklyn Quiteh earned

the honor as the No. 1 player in the poll, being credited for his speed, vision and ability to break tackles. The two-time Harlon Hill finalist was joined by defensive end Larry Webster (No. 9), offensive guard Brian Clarke (No. 11), center Chris Steck (No. 94) and defensive tackle Chris Kennedy (No. 96). When the D2Football.com preseason All-America teams came out in August, the Huskies also had strong representation - Quiteh and Clarke were each first team selections while Steck and Webster landed on the second team.

HUTTON’S TRIPLE PLAYGlenn Hutton Jr. made his three receptions vs. Lock Haven count, taking all of them in for touchdowns. He caught three balls on the day for 67 yards and touchdown grabs of 33, 25 and nine yards respectively. The showing not only was a career-best for the senior receiver, but also the first time a Huskies player has hauled in three touchdowns in a game since Kyle Fisher accomplished the feat vs. LIU Post on Sept. 22, 2012.

CALL ‘EM CAPTAINSSeniors Franklyn Quiteh and Chris Steck along with junior Justin Shirk have been named tri-captains for this season. Steck also served as a team captain a season ago.

PSAC PRESEASON POLLBloomsburg was picked second in the Eastern Division in the 2013 PSAC Preseason Coaches’ Poll which was released at PSAC Media Day in August. It marks the eighth straight year BU has been been picked to finish first or second in the division. Shippensburg, last year’s PSAC East champ, took the top spot with six first-place votes while Bloomsburg and third-place West Chester snagged the remaining top tallies. In the West, defending conference champion IUP was a nearly unanimous favorite with seven first-place votes.

The four touchdowns Franklyn Quiteh scored on Saturday give him 84 for his career, one shy of Jamar Brittingham’s school and conference records of 85 from 2004 to 2007. Brittingham scored at least one touchdown in 35 out of the 42 games he played in during his career, with one touchdown in nine of the games, two in nine games, three in 12, four in four games and five touchdowns once. Quiteh has scored at least one in 37 of his 43 games, with one touchdown in nine games, two in 16 games, three touchdowns in five games and four touchdowns seven times. He has scored at least one touchdown in the last 16 consecutive games he has played in, while Brittingham scored in 22 straight games from 2004 to 2006. The 35-0 halftime lead versus Cheyney on Saturday was the 17th time since 1995 Bloomsburg has led by at least 30 points at the half. Eleven of those 17 games have come at home and eight against the Wolves. With the previous 31-0 halftime lead over Millersville two weeks ago, this was the fourth time the team has done this at least twice in a single season. It was accom-plished twice in 1997 and three times in 1996 and 2004. The Huskies have scored 20 or more points in a school record 20-consecutive regular season games. The previous record had been 19 from 2010 to 2011. The team’s current streak of 20 or more in 21-consecutive overall games is also a record. Blooms-burg has two more new school records with eight-straight 30-point games to begin a year and nine-consecutive regular season games with 30 or more. Both were originally set last season. The Huskies have scored 345 points in their first eight games, the second-highest total in school history. The record is the 346 scored in 1996. Bloomsburg has won eight consecutive games to begin the season for the 9th time in school history and third year in a row. The other six years were in 1948 and 1951 under Robert Redman, in 1985 under George Landis, and in 2005, 2008 and 2009. The upcoming game with Shippensburg is the 78th in the series between the two schools, dating back to the first meeting in 1917. Bloomsburg’s record in the previous 77 games is 33-44, 21-17 at home and 12-27 on the road.

THE BLOOMSBURG - SHIPPENSBURG RIVALRY

The Bloomsburg-Shippensburg rivalry dates back to 1917, with the teams meeting 77 times since then. Pictured above is a scene from the 1940 Bloom-Ship game held at Bloomsburg State Normal School. Bloomsburg won that day, 24-14. Below, the Huskies take on the Raiders at Redman Stadium in 1993. The Raiders won that day, 30-7.

The rivalry between Bloomsburg and Shippensburg dates back to 1917 when Bloomsburg defeated Shippensburg by a 23-0 score. Since then, the two schools have met on the gridiron 77 times with the Raiders holding a 44-33 edge. At left is the all-time series history between the schools from 1917-2011. Last year, Shippensburg added a pair of wins with a 49-42 win on Oct. 27, 2012 fol-lowed by a 58-20 triumph in the postseason. In recent years the rivalry has been renewed with the teams again becoming divisional rivals following Shippensburg’s move to the PSAC Eastern Division. The rivalry took on a new meaning last season when the Raiders derailed Bloomsburg’s hopes for a perfect season and divisional crown, handing the Huskies their only two losses of the season while ending BU’s season in the first round of the NCAA playoffs. Bloomsburg’s record in the previous 77 games is 33-44, 21-17 at home and 12-27 on the road.

Paul Darragh was named interim head coach of Bloomsburg University in February 2013 and overall will be starting his 17th season with the Huskies this year. Darragh has served as the Huskies’ defensive coordinator for the last 16 years. Under Darragh’s leadership the Huskies’ defense has ranked in the top-half of the PSAC in total defense seven of the past 11 seasons, including back-to-back second place finishes in 2000 and 2001 and a second place in 2009. The Huskies have also ranked among the best in the PSAC in run defense finishing first or second five times, including second in two of the last four seasons. The 2009 Huskies finished third nationally in scoring defense (13.36/game), pacing the PSAC. BU also led the conference in sacks, ranking 14th nationally (3.09 per game). In 2010 the Huskies were eighth in Division II in rushing defense (85.38 yards per game). Overall under Darragh’s leadership, the Bloomsburg defense finished in the top-15 in NCAA Division II six times since the 2000 season. Darragh has also coached 51 first team All-PSAC performers, seven All-Americans and two PSAC East Defensive Players of the Year in Anthony Smith (2009) and Mike Va-ranavage (2010). Prior to Bloomsburg, Darragh worked for two years at Indiana (PA) as the linebackers coach. He started his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Temple from 1987-89. From there, Darragh coached the linebackers at Northeastern and Gannon before being promoted to defensive coordinator at Gannon. He moved from Gannon to the defensive coordinator post at William Paterson College before joining the IUP staff. A three-year starter and captain for Temple, he graduated in 1985 after earning All-East honors as an inside linebacker. Darragh and his wife Yelena live in Orangeville with their children Sasha, Lemuel and Gabriel.
