Visual Artist

Mr. Hunt has been president of Shove Insurance for over 20 years. He has been involved with the Blackstone Valley, Rhode Island and Northern Rhode Island Chambers of Commerce. In addition, he served as a delegate at the White House Conference on Small Business. He serves on the board of the Pawtucket Foundation and YMCA of Pawtucket and is a past President of Memorial Hospital and the Pawtucket Rotary Club. In 1991, he received the Pawtucket Citizen of the Year Award.

Mr. Steffey has over 35 years of insurance expertise and is the founding shareholder of NBIC Holdings. In 2012, PBN recognized NBIC as one of the region’s fastest growing companies, with 280% growth in the past 3 years. His achievements include founding Liberty International Holdings, Inc., and revamping Reinsurance Australia Ltd. He currently serves on the boards of the Pawtucket Foundation, Memorial Hospital, YMCA of Pawtucket, and USS Constitution Museum.

Ms. Dow Simpson is an internationally recognized visual artist and active member of the Pawtucket art community. A distinguished painter, she has received several prestigious commissions, including from The Atlantic Monthly and Bostonian Magazine and has had over 50 of her paintings featured as covers of The New Yorker. In 2012, Gov. Chafee commissioned a mural of her work to welcome travelers to Rhode Island on Interstate-95. She is best known for her distinctive views of New England architecture.
