The Alpinestars Bionic Neck Support (BNS) is a structure whichis designed to work with a helmet to reduce the risk and severityo a catastrophic neck injury (ie. A paralyzing injury). -- While no

product can guarantee protection rom all motorcycle injuries,due to the varied dynamics o accidents, the BNS is designed tosubstantially reduce the likelihood o a career ending neck injuryalthough it must be stated at the outset that it, as with other suchsystems, may not prevent injuries occurring in all cases. -- TheBNS unctions by providing an alternative load path or the energythat compresses the neck. -- I the helmet is in contact with theBionic Neck Support at the moment o impact the overall loadpassing through the neck can be reduced, which may preventa racture rom occurring. -- The BNS also helps reduce thechance o muscular injuries associated with extremes o headmovement and is designed to help prevent serious damage
