The beauty of one of america’s most important flyways is on display near the confluence of the mississippi and missouri rivers at the audubon Center in alton, illinois. The center is located on 3,700 acres of restored prairie marsh, a migratory bird sanctuary and home to more than 325 species of songbirds and waterfowl. The event includes a coach tour of the Great rivers Confluence with a docent and viewing of migrating trumpeter swans. The Just in Time Band will entertain with a mix of jazz standards and popular music; cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
