2013 Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence Experience Sharing Seminars 26 April, 3 May, 10 May, 24 May and 31 May 2013 Background Launched in 2008, the Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE) is striding successfully into its sixth year. It is led by the Environmental Campaign Committee alongside the Environmental Protection Department in conjunction with the other nine organizations. The HKAEE is one of the most prestigious environmental award schemes in Hong Kong, with the aims to encourage businesses and organizations to adopt green management and recognize their commitment towards environmental protection. The HKAEE has four schemes : namely Sectoral Awards”, “Green Innovations Awards”, Environmental Labelsand “Carbon“Less” Certificates”. About the Seminars Five seminars featuring a series of different themes (as listed below) will be organized between April and May to provide organizations with important information and updates on the HKAEE. Guest speakers from various organizations will share their successful experience in environmental management during the seminars. In addition, past winning organizations of the HKAEE will host booth displays where participants will have the opportunity to obtain practical knowledge on environmental management.
