The standard 2.5L 4-cylinder engine paired with the 6-speed automatic transmission2 delivers 6.0L/100 km (47 mpg) hwy1 — that’s fuel efficiency similarly equipped Camry and Altima models can’t beat. You can also get the 2.5L with the 6-speed manual to have fun putting Fusion through its paces yourself.

V6 authority.

The 240-horsepower 3.0L V6 flex fuel engine2 runs on E85, gasoline or any blend of the two. For maximum intensity, the 3.5L V6 on Fusion Sport3 kicks out 263 horsepower and 249 lb.-ft. of torque. Both V6s are mated to our sophisticated 6-speed SelectShift Automatic® transmission.

Hybrid ingenuity.

Fusion Hybrid4 doesn’t have to use any fuel to operate at speeds of up to 76 km/h or when it’s stopped in traffic, which helps it get outstanding fuel efficiency and over 1,200 city km per tank.5 The clever hybrid powertrain supplies 191 net horsepower and automatically recharges itself.
