Whatever form they take, the Ca-nadian carwash industry is here to stay. With demand driven largely by new car sales, consumer income and healthy locations, our labour-intensive industry shows no signs of slowing down, despite regional fluctuations. With major success in the west and southwestern Ontario, the chains con-tinue to experience growth, even as independents seek out new business opportunities. Though it may change form, trends will come and go, the carwash will always be a community mainstay.
