2012 Auto Expo – The Countdown Begins

• Countdown for 2012 Auto Expo to be held between 5th and 11th of January 2012 has started. A huge surge of abroad participation, larger bodies from China and Germany, besides strong presence of Indian automobile manufacturing companies have resulted in full booking of space in Delhi, outdoor space, 16 halls and 10 hangers in total consisting of 1,15,000 square meters, aligning with theme of Mobility for All, Mr. Rajive Kaul, Chairman at Steering committee at Auto Expo said.

• 2012 Auto Expo is together planned by Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers and Automotive Component Manufacturers Association along with Confederation of Indian Industry. It is the only event in India endorsed by Organization Internationale des Constructeurs d’Automobiles.

• Approximately 1500 participants from 24 nations will be participating in the event. Firms from People Republic of China, Germany, France, Canada, Japan, Italy and United Kingdom have confirmed their participation.

Venue

• 2012 Auto Expo, the Asia’s biggest automotive show will be held from 7th to 11th of January at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
