2012 Performances

Taking Center Stage

DEAR FRIENDS OF THE FOX, What a year we have had! In 2011 we witnessed incredible growth at the Fox Tucson Theatre. As you’ll see on the charts on the right, the Fox made significant progress on almost every front this year over previous years. Our earned income more than doubled, the number of shows increased 30%, our contributions increased back to 2008 levels after a couple of challenging years, and our attendees broke 50,000 for the first time since the theatre reopened in 2006. Everywhere we go, we hear wonderful things about the Fox. Some fans say,“The kind of acts you’re bringing in these days are amazing,” and others say, “The brand of the Fox has improved so much.” It is certainly gratifying to be leading the effort to return the Fox to its rightful status as the “crown jewel” of downtown, but we know that we could not do any of this without the support of our members. So we say thanks to you, and encourage you to watch what happens to the Fox in 2012. The sky is truly the limit…

Fox in Review

Fox in our communityIt’s been a memorable year for us in so many ways, and none more than our expanding network of community partnerships. The Fox Tucson Theatre is proud to have shared its stage with over 30 worthwhile local businesses and organizations and will continue the tradition of being a community center in the truest sense of the word.

We’re proud to report that our own two annual events, Oscar Night America (Spring) and Chasing Rainbows Gala (Fall), were both smashing successes in 2011! We’ll run both again in 2012, and are looking forward to even bigger and better events this year!

Fox members enjoy a variety of benefits, from early ticket purchase privileges, to concession discounts, to naming opportunities and other types of recognition.
