Jordanian Attitudes toward Israel
Findings from a national survey of Jordanian opinion conducted by Pechter Polls for the Israel Project
November 19 –December 15, 2011
Jordan Survey Methodology
The survey was quantitative. Comprised of face to face interviews with respondents in the privacy of their own homes.
The survey was undertaken by a local commercial survey firm in Lebanon under the direction of Pechter Polls of Princeton, New Jersey.
Native speakers administered the survey in Arabic using a structured questionnaire.
The survey employed a multi-stage probability household sampling approach.
The survey was conducted November 19 through December 15, 2011.
The sample frame for Jordan was based on data from the Jordan Department of Statistics 2004 census and its updates where relevant.
The sample size was 1,000.
The margin of error was +/- 3.1%.
