The First Club Officer Training Great and Beneficial Opportunity to Develop Yourself and Your Club 2011Summer The first Club Officer Trainings sponsored by 6 Divisions of District 76 will be held for the period between July 17 and August 28 as you see in the schedule list below. Please do not miss this great and beneficial opportunity to further develop your club and your leadership skills, and also network with other clubs’ officers! ■ What is the training’ s unique and different point this time? The trainings this time are different from those of the previous years because all divisions will use standardized training materials. This means if club officers who are unable to join their own division’s training due to a schedule conflict, for example, they are allowed to attend one of the other 5 divisions’ trainings as an alternative and learn the same contents and are credited to a DCP point, providing that they get permission in advance from the concerned Division. Please first contact your new club president, so that he/she will subsequently contact your Area Governor/Division Governor. ■ Standardized training programs include: Seven club officers’ roles and responsibilities; how to build membership in your club; DCP (Distinguished Club Program) and how to achieve goals using the Club Success Plan; opportunities for growth available through the Toastmasters International Communication and Leadership tracks and membership programs;  and speech contest judge training. If 4 or more of your club officers attend the training twice during the term, the first and second ones respectively, your club will get 1 DCP point! ■ Requirements: *New Cub Officers in good standing. *To attend the training for at least 4 hours. ■ Non-club officers: *If non-club officers, having a member number and in good standing, are interested in learning about Toastmasters’ educational programs and how to manage a club to develop their leadership skills, they are welcomed as observer. Those members need to contact Area Governor/Division Governor through their new club president in advance to reserve an observer seat. Reservation is subject to seat availability. ■ Certificate of Judge Training: “Judge training” is one of the training programs; accordingly, an official certificate will be issued to all participants in the judge training, even for non-club officers. Please contact your Area Governor/Division Governor to ensure your participation through your new club president.
