HISTORY OF

WALTER "DUBBIE" WALLER

Dubbie Waller was a longtime resident of West Baton Rouge and Port Allen. He was the athletic director at Holy Family School for 23 years. Dubbie's true passion in life was developing sports programs for both boys and girls at Holy Family. It is because of Dubbie that Holy Family has the spirit and history of athletic competitiveness we have today.

Athletics is an important part of a young person's life. It teaches them discipline, self-pride on and off the field, and helps foster the responsibilities of being a team member. Dubbie had a strong belief that sportsmanship should always take precedence over winning, and we strive to teach that today.
