The Beaches Educational Foundation is a non-profit organization that beganas the shared idea of local businessmen and educators. The concept was todevelop a non-profit foundation that would be able to provide financialassistance to academically capable students at Fletcher High School who,because of financial difficulties, might not otherwise be able to attend college.

Upcoming Duncan U. Fletcher High School graduates seeking a highereducation at an accredited institution (community, state, private, or other) areeligible for the Beaches Educational Foundation scholarship. This scholarshipis based on financial need, merit, and the ability to be successful in a post-secondary course of study. The scholarship will be awarded in an amount up

to $20,000.
