What’s In A Name?
The Chinese Farmhouse Retreat is our annualovernight trip to Lancaster County. We’llspend the night at the Christiana Retreat ofAmbassador’s for Christ, a Christian ministry toChinese university students. Since we’restaying in a farmhouse with Chinese literatureand posters on the wall, this retreat hasaffectionately come to be known as theChinese Farmhouse Retreat.
What Will We Do?
We’ll spend time in Bible study, prayer, andworship growing closer to God and one
another. Also, we’ll play ping-pong, football,frisbee, capture-the-flag, water balloons, andother crazy fun along with a movie and lots offood.

When Is It?
We will leave at 6pm on Friday night (eatdinner before you arrive) and return around9pm on Saturday. See the front of thisbrochure for the exact dates.
What Is The Cost?
Only $35.
What Do I Bring?
Clothes to play around outside (including longpants and long sleeves for outside games andpoison ivy blocker if you’re allergic), sleepingbag, pillow, towel, toiletries, Bible, pencil,paper, and anything else to help you survive!Water balloons will be allowed during a limitedperiod on Saturday so you may want to comeprepared.
What NOT To Bring?
Water guns, electronic equipment (dvd players,cd/mp3 players, video games, etc.), or
anything dangerous or illegal.Since a large reason for our retreat is to getaway from our regular routines, we ask thatyou leave your cell phones off an only usethem in an emergency or to check in with yourparents to let them know we arrived safely.
