Teenagers, trained by VISIONS, help visually impaired seniors learn and enjoy life. David Warfield Fund

Unemployed and low-income job seekers take a free class in high-speed cable installation offered by the Fifth Avenue Committee, which has

Common Ground, which houses hundreds of homeless in the Prince George Hotel, used a Trust grant to hire teens aging out of foster care

and in jeopardy of being homeless. . .

. . .to learn woodworking, decorative plaster and painting, and flooring with Alpha Workshops, another Trust grantee.

One teen said, “I think the ballroom will look really nice. People will be impressed. They see my du-rag and my baggy jeans and they think that

appearance says a lot about me. . .

. . .I want them to know there’s a lot more beyond appearance.”
