Environmental health is the study of how environmental factors can harm human health and how to identify, prevent, and control these effects. The field concerns itself with maintaining a safe supply of food and drinking water, discovering the mechanisms of environmentally related diseases, treating and disposing of solid and toxic wastes, reducing air, water, food, and noise pollution, and controlling workplace hazards. UW Masters in Biomedical Regulatory Affairs

The University of Washington's Master of Science in Biomedical Regulatory Affairs, offered by the UW School of Pharmacy in partnership with UW Educational Outreach, addresses a growing need for well-trained professionals in the regulatory field. The degree serves those who wish to advance their careers in the medical products industry or those entering the field from related areas. The program comprises 45 credits through 11 courses that are offered over two years or six consecutive academic quarters. A class is admitted each year and this cohort proceeds through the program's courses together.
