Bringing People HomeCentral to the Fairfax-Falls Church 10-Year Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness is the development of more affordable housing units for the most vulnerable of our neighbors.

• Developing 2,650 new affordable and services-appropriate housing units.• Housing Options Subcommittee.• Housing Blueprint.

ChallengeOver the past year, the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-housing program (HPRP) has helped close to 900 people receive the services and support they needed to prevent or end their homelessness.

• More than $1.7 million allocated of these federal stimulus funds to be provided over 3 years; close to $1.55 million spent in the first 14 months.• At this rate, financial assistance available through HPRP will be exhausted any day.
