2009’s “Denim and Diamonds” Masked Affair at Steven’s Fine Dining in October was the most successful in six years. “ We were so overwhelmed by the community’s generosity to the Karen Hilburn Breast and Cervical Fund,” said Karen Hilburn, founder and president of the KHB&CCF. “We want to give a heartfelt THANKS to all of those Merchants and Individuals that donated to this event. They made it possible for us to help more Mason County women with their medical expenses associated with breast and cervical Cancer diagnoses and treatment.” This year’s event is set for October 21, 2010

PENINSULA CREDIT UNION CELEBRATES ITS 75TH ANNIVERSARY

In 1935, seven workers at the Rayonier Pulp and Paper Company organized

their own credit union. It was the first of its kind in Washington State. Their goals were to promote the principals of thrift and easy credit amongst their members

in order to help each other grow in security and prosperity. From those

humble beginnings and stout objectives, Peninsula Credit Union has grown to five branches in Shelton, Belfair, Port Orchard, Poulsbo and Port Townsend.

Join them as they celebrate their 75th Anniversary on Member Appreciation

Day - Friday, September 24, 2010.
