We love products and we love parenting. Seriously. We eat, sleep and breathe this stuff. By putting our passion into these

two pursuits, we create unique, innovative and highly functional products that make parenting easier, better and more fun.

Skip Hop is sold the world-over to discerning parents who appreciate better products that help improve their busy lives.

We sweat the details and are committed to safety.

We want to make our products perfect and we’re fanatical about product safety. So our team works tirelessly

perfecting every detail, every component, every color and every feature until it meets our extraordinarily high design

standards and exceeds all applicable safety standards. If we’re not completely in love with a product we’ve created,

we’d never sell it to you. When you a buy a Skip Hop creation, we want you to feel that no detail was overlooked,

nothing was left to chance, and that our team put countless hours into making it the best that we possibly can.

It started with a mom, dad and new baby in 2003.

In 2003, Ellen and Michael Diamant founded Skip Hop when they introduced the Duo, the world’s first stroller bag.

With a multitude of innovative features including the first stroller straps, diaper bags would never be the same.

With the Duo’s clean and modern design, diaper bags finally moved beyond decades of teddy bears and gingham.

Ellen and Michael started the company with little experience in consumer products, manufacturing or distribution.

Ellen was a branding and advertising design executive, while Michael, a serial entrepreneur, was a refugee from the

pre-bubble Internet era. Together, they proved the adage that if you don’t know what you can’t do, you can

accomplish anything.

With an unlimited enthusiasm for innovation and great design, they brought their outsider’s eye to a wide range

of new parenting products. Along with their renowned diaper bags, they re-imagined feeding products and produced

their iconic, IDEA award winning Splash bottle drying rack. They introduced the whimsical Moby bath spout cover

which became in instant best seller in bath safety. They were amazed that nobody had tried to improve on the A-B-C

foam floor tiles, and the unique, decor-friendly Playspot was born and enthusiastically received all over the world.

And the company continues to surprise and delight customers with new products in a broad range of categories,

with new additions in developmental toys, bedding and nursery decor, all of which include the Skip Hop hallmarks of

great design, innovation and quality.

a number of causes that are much more
