Maybe you plan to design a city, teach the hearing impaired or travel around the world. Or, right now, your focus is to find the right university.

At the University of Central Florida, every day is about fulfilling potential. We provide opportunities where you can get excited about your future. We’re committed to teaching, advising and

providing academic support services. At UCF, you can gain practical experience by working with faculty researchers and through internships and work study programs.

We have a new College of Medicine and new psychology and physical sciences buildings. A new Performing Arts Center is also being built. For entertainment, take in a football game at the Bright House Networks Stadium, or a concert or basketball game at the UCF Arena.

We offer state-of-the-art wireless classrooms, a 149,000-square-foot recreational fitness center, and on-campus housing for nearly 8,000 students. You just need to show up, work hard and enjoy your time at one of the nation’s top “Schools to Watch,” according to U.S. News & World Report.

We are UCF. And UCF Stands For Opportunity.

You’ve got dreams. Big dreams.

We’re focused on you. UCF provides you a top-notch educational experience. Your undergraduate experience will teach you to analyze, question, discover and achieve excellence. No matter what your area of study, there are research programs and work opportunities that will enhance your education.

Researching the futureLast year, UCF received nearly $133 million in research funding. The Central Florida Research Park, adjacent to the main campus, is ranked as one of the top research parks in the nation. It is home to more than 90 high-tech companies that employ more than 9,000 people.

The Office of Undergraduate Research at UCF offers paid research positions to students. One million dollars is allocated annually to support students through projects and hundreds of research experiences.

It’s not just what you know — it’s who you know. UCF’s partnerships with industry, organizations and Central Florida communities continue to grow and enhance instruction, research and service. Contacts made as a student can lead to job offers after graduation. Our faculty and administrators work closely with the region’s business leaders. In turn, these leaders provide curricular advice and financial support to UCF.

While at UCF, my research projects and internship

played a significant role in earning my current position

as safety analyst with JetBlue Airways.

NCAA Athletics at UCFUCF student-athletes are winners on and off the field. In the classroom, for the third year in a row, all 16 of UCF’s athletic teams exceeded the NCAA requirements for academic success. UCF has never had a team penalized for low academic standing.

UCF is having success on the field too. UCF won Conference USA (C-USA) titles in women’s soccer, men’s golf and women’s outdoor track & field. Returning starters and strong recruiting classes have preseason polls predicting success in several fall sports, including football and men’s and women’s basketball. With new facilities, great action and plenty of sports to choose from, rooting for the black and gold has never been easier.

UCF is a member of NCAA Division I. All UCF sports teams compete in Conference USA.
